Froch: No flight = No fight.

WBC SMW champion Carl Froch was supposed to have arrived in Denmark saturday a week in advance of his supersix fight with Mikkel Kessler. Due to the vulcanic ash over Great Britain and Northern Europe, Froch has been unable to arrive. This means that the scheduled media work-outs in Herning on monday has been cancelled. "I will not sail and I will not go by car", Froch says to TV3. "It would be too tough for me." Danish airspace is closed at least untill 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Froch says: "If I cannot fly to Denmark I'll cancel the fight".

I love it how all these key board warriors are calling Froch a pussy when it was Kessler who didn't even have the balls to fight Miranda and Dawson regardless of whether it was his promoter's fault or not. its funny how you judge all these people on this thread when you support a boxer that attempted to load his gloves

LOL that was the Gumball rally episode. They took an overnight ferry from St. Petersburg to Helsinki if i remember rightly. Ah that was probably it. In my defense I only ever watch Jackass when I'm lean as fuck.

There's a direct ferry from Harwich to Esbjerg which is pretty close to Herning. Mate, that crossing takes about 18 hours. Nevermind the fact that Froch lives nowhere near Essex.

I don't think you can get a boat to Denmark directly from England? Froch would have to go to Holland and drive up from there. Weird point of reference but I think I saw the Jackass guys on a ferry from England to Denmark once on some Euro roadtrip special. Might be remembering wrong though lol.

Exactly, 3 hours to Dover, 1.5 hours crossing the channel and say 4 hours to Denmark. Get a big comfy coach like bands use to tour in, sorted. Check the geography mate. From Calais to Denmark is at least 15 hours by car and that's assuming no traffic jams which would be unlikely.
