I know people don't like his cockyness, his crab-like stance and his back alley brawling style. At the end of the day though, he is willing to face any and everyone.
Before anyone was even thinking about Hasegawa, Vic was willing to face him. Also even though Donaire dominated him beyond believe, he is still willing to get back in the ring, which says alot about the type of heart/balls he has.
something must be said about his trainers or something though, it is very annoying seeing vic fight in recent times especially after the mijares fight where he showed us he can defend and throw in combos
what happened against agbeko? he said himself he screwed up too, bloody mystery this
love the bloke but he upsets me sometimes
at least face people shit vic ahha love your tags
vic is #1 at least he shows something can't be said about aussie fighters these days
I have no idea why does tags are like that or if you can change them?
yeah I like vic, he is my 2nd favorite fighter, and I actually want him to face top guys at 118.
you forgot about his lips...but you wouldn't know about them cause they aren't there!
But his nostrils are. Cotdaaaaaaaaaaamn, those Armenian nostrils! They could destroy the world.
Who you talking about Anselmo Moreno? :boxing:
And, at the time Agbeko was an elite Bantamweight, still is...
Agbeko is elite, sure. (no sarcasm)
but Hasegawa is the king of the bantamweights.
wish he and donaire would just go up to 118 (for good) already and add to the mix.
115 sucks.
why would anyone want to dominate such a weak division?
well both will bounce pretty soon. Vic is pretty much gone and is only staying for a Donaire rematch. Win or lose he will be at bantamweight. I also think Donaire is close to the move, due to weight issues, so he will also be in the mix.
118
Hasegawa
Moreno
Montiel
Donaire
Perez
Darchinyan
Mares
Rigondeaux
Sonsona (will be back since he got sonned by vazquez)
and a few others I forgot, since Im going off the top of my head.
He's a bit like Mayorga, in that he talks a lot of trash but is so open to getting KTFO. However, at least Mayorga said (and still says) cool stuff in a badass way - Darchinyan just sounds like he has gravel in his mouth the whole time, and his broken English ruins the effect of whatever he's trying to say. The things he comes out with make him sound like a bitch, too.
I'm going to love seeing Donaire finish him once and for all.
I read an article on it back then. Hozumi has been wanting to make a US debut and both parties were in favor of a class if Vic had won. Vic lost and then I heard a rumor that Hasa would come over to face Agbecko. I know Agbecko called him out, but he then lost to Perez...killing any chances of that fight happening.
I saw a video of Agbeko calling Hasegawa a coward because he won't leave Japan.
But then was like, "No, I won't go to Japan."
When he moved up who did he face?
King of the Bantams?
Or some title holder?

There is no King of Bantams. One hasn't been crowned yet.
What makes you say that he would've definitely come out to the US?

actually if he would have beaten agbecko, Hozumi would have made his US debut against him (true story). I was hoping Vic won because he was calling out Hasa when no one else was (even though he wasn't even in his division at the time).

I really think vic has a chance against Donaire
Man vic is my dude, and as much as I want to believe he will, I highly doubt it. I'll still be rooting up and down for him during the fight, but at the same time I'll be prepared for the post-fight depression incase he gets sparked again. :(
If everyone managed their career the way Vic did, boxing would be in a much better place. He talks smack, fights everyone, fights consistently, and goes for the KO. And when he got KO'ed, there was no doubt he was trying to get up.
