He has a slim punchers chance
It is slim but he's not a bad boxer and Williams isn't Pep. He'll get his opportunities to land. He's tall with a good reach himself. If he can avoid or handle the missile's coming his way (a big if), he'll have a pretty good shot. Wouldn't bet on it though.
Real quick How many of yall the Cintron-Feliciano fight?
This dude went to war with a 46-10 Lovemore N'dou.
Hes toast fellas.
Nobody has KOd Ndou, he is tough as nails!!!
In the feliciano fight he broke his hand in the third round and still TKOd him.
Williams got hurt by a Feather fisted SWW at MW
I think Williams TKOs him late, do to volume punching and pressure, but if Cintron lands like this Williams doesnt get up!!!!
Then again Matthysse has been KO'd by just about everybody. I have yet to see Cintron display such power against opponents on the level of Paul Williams.
And deservedly so. You make a good point about the Angulu fight - I was very impressed with Cintron that night. I'll be even more impressed if Williams is able to take him out. On a night where they'll be replaying Mayweather-Mosley, it would be quite a statement. Cintron may or may not be good enough to pull off the upset but he's certainly skilled and powerful enough to cause problems for PW.
Thats where I'm at with this. I don't think this will be an easy day at work for Williams. Kermit might push him a bit and be in the fit more than some expect.
I wouldn't say he has no chance, but Williams's constant pressure is going to be too much for him and I don't think he's such a huge puncher at 154. Cintron did outbox Angulo and Williams can be outboxed, but Williams should be a strong favorite. I believe Cintron is a 4 to 1 underdog in betting.

Hes been caught before and went down though. And this guy has pretty heavy hands.
He got hit by a punch he didnt see by a guy who is extrmely fast. He will see Cintrons punches coming a mile away.
You have to remember Cintron was basically KO'd by Martinez. His chin isnt all that.

Cintron can't take punches and Cintron has a questionable heart aswell. Paul Williams by brutal beatdown, there's no question in Williams Heart.
William's chin is cast iron. Cintron doesn't have the skills and mental fortitude to last with this guy.

Cintron has become a better boxer combined with his athleticism and power and he's good, but no. He actually countered OK against Martinez and did a decent job of controlling pace and defending.
But No, he isn't a live dog IMO, of course. He's still mentally weak and he showed it in the Martinez fight and in the last round of the Angulo fight.
Paul Williams got a good chin and when that fails, he has stamina, determination, and heart to fall back on. There aren't too many fighters out that can keep getting hit by counters and won't get gunshy, Williams is 1 of them. He will get hit and just come right back throwing 3,4,5,6 punch combinations. Cintron will feel overwhelmed and crumble from the pressure and activity.
Quote this.
Paul is going to drown Cintron with his punches. I like Cintron, and I think he would've been a live dog at 147, but he just can't crack the same way at 154. Maybe he'll prove himself, but for now I see him folding mentally when he realizes early that he can't thwart Paul's volume. I'd go with maybe a 7th round stoppage.
He can punch and we saw Paul got hurt early by Sergio. Granted Cintron isn't a slick lefty, but he has some boxing ability and he can crack. Discuss.
Cintron has good power and pwill is hittable so yes he is a live underdog
