Sergio Martinez is really Overrated

i mean what has the guy done? draw with cintron? close loss to williams? stopped by margarito? who has the guy beat? some of you are really overrating him. let him beat someone in the top 10 then we can talk about it.. he will get ko'd by kelly pavlik if not get up in a 12 round decision the guy is simply not as good as hes made out to be..the funny thing is i dont consider williams, margarito or cintron "elite level skilled" fighters...nor pavlik. cintron, pavlik and margarito arent that skilled period williams just throws 1000s of punches using his height and reach while getting countered to death everytime, quintana already countered him before martinez. DId you watch the Citron fight? Did you watch the Williams fight. Do some homework, then respond.

martinez was landing the cleaner punches, while williams was throwing 200 per round like calzaghe. the fight was difficult to score, but the one judge who scored it 119-110 was probably drunk like larry holmes would say. they should have scored it a draw to force a quick rematch, now we have to wait until martinez beats pavlik @160, thats not gonna be an easy night for him.

He fought PW at MW not even his weight and that fight could easily been a draw. Cintron fight was an all out robbery, Margo fight this guy was very young and raw. Williams was supposed to be the next big thing in boxing and his promoters make out as if he is some kind of different species and that he cant land a fight, yet the much less known martinez gave him his toughest fight other than his loss to quintana and arguably even beat williams. It was the only fight i have ever seen of martinez, but it was good enough for me to want to see his next performance, against kelly pavlik no less.

ok, how about this. the one fight we can say martinez decisively lost in is the margs fight right??? ok margs is not better than, lets say, dlh. if u think he is, i dunno wat to say to u. so what the hell would make u think martinez could possibly beat a prime de la hoya??? now u might say he's gotten better, n that may be so but as of right now, martinez is not a p4p fighter and he hasnt beaten anyone really good decisively. therefore all u guys are doing is rating him on talent, somethin i cant agree wit. i like him, but lets wait til he does more.

Try watching one of his mutha fuggin fights then you see how fukn good he is. ive seen his fights hes a slick counterpuncher and somewhat entertaining to watch but the dude hasnt done jackshit yet gets nuthugged here. he is a good fighter but not as good as some people r making him out to be.

Quintana also got dropped by Williams in rd 1 in the rematch too. Martinez was robbed against Cintron and could have easily drawn or won by a rd or so (I personally think he won by 1 rd) with Williams. He doesn't back down from challenges and provides action in his fights. if martinez beats pavlik i will take my words back and give him full credit but for now the dude hasnt done shit yet gets so much credit for nothing. let him beat somebody like i said...if martinez doesnt beat pavlik ill stick to my claim, that i was right...lets see this weekend
