Paulie Malignaggi is a LIVE underdog.

I do think that this fight is more competitive then most people are making it out to be but I definitely see Amir beating Paulie in an impressive fashion. Paulie can make this fight ugly by clinching everytime Amir connects though. I wouldnt really call Paulie a masterfull boxer. Yes, he has great lateral movement, footwork and a fast jab but he gets hit often by slow fighters like Cotto just imagine how easy Amir will hit him with his speed and accuracy. I think Amir will put the pressure on Paulie and be more offensive in this fight. I'm predicting a points victory for Amir. If Amir stops Paulie, I will be amazed. Good news > Amir is not going to Vancouver anymore (I have no idea why he would go there in the middle of a camp to start with!). Anyways, to the dumb people who keep on saying Paule is shit and what not. Paulie is back to being the old Paulie ever since he teamed up with Sherif Younan. The only person that beat Paulie in my eyes is Cotto and Cotto is a dangerous puncher. Paulie lasted 12 rounds with him and fought Cotto with a broken jaw! He passed out when he went back to his dressing room. So, I do not see Paulie getting KO'd. IF Amir KO's Paulie, then all you idiots have to re-asses Amir's position in the P4P rankings because Amir has speed, power, skills AND heart. Amir is the new P4P KING.

Khan has got this in the bag he will be far to fast and strong for Paulie, Cotto beat him & Hatton walked stright through him. Its deff not a 50 / 50 fight more like a 80 / 20 to khan im sorry to say.

I have been hearing a lot of stupid people saying how Paulie is feather fisted and will lose to Khan. One thing that they forget is that Paulie is FAST, SLICK, TOUGH AND INTELLIGENT. Amir has never fought someone like Paulie before. Paulie just beat Juan Diaz twice! and lasted 12 rounds with Cotto. Also, I have been hearing a lot about Amir having a lot of fun during this training camp. He is going to Vancouver on Friday till Monday (for "work related" reasons). I don't know what that means but when you have a tough fight coming up, you don't travel to another country.... While Amir is doing all this, I'm sure Paulie is doing his homework watching tapes at home. This is a 50-50 fight. paulie is feather fisted. paulie isnt really that fast, he isnt slick in the slightest, he is tough tho. khan fight is 50/50.

50-50 my ass. Malignaggi is getting dominated in this fight. Malignaggi looked good against Diaz and his fans are acting like this constitutes some kind of career-defining win. Which I guess it does since his previous best victim was Lovemore N'Dou. But Diaz was/is a one-dimensional come-forward fighter with no power, slow footwork and did I mention he's a lightweight? Khan is a big strong 140 lb'er, he hits way harder than PM, he's just as quick and he's more intelligent- with a better defence. Paulie's defence is average. You'll see a great performance from Khan May 15.

I honestly can't see anything other than Paulie getting brutally stopped in around the 10th round. He simply has no advantage over Khan, and will likely get caught early and often.

I guess he might be a live underdog but without the power to test Khan's chin he is still an underdog. khan's been KD by fighters with lower KO%'s than paulie's.

amir khan fights nothing like cotto and hatton.. they just cut the ring off and beat the shi* out of paulie it's completely more equal fight with guys who try to box him it's definitely going to be a interesting fight.

Thread fail. You don't get worked by Cotto and Hatton by being a "master boxer". Cottos a good boxer, and Hatton looked amazing against Paulie. It had to be the best version of Hatton I seen, Paulie was having a hard time landing on Hatton. I'd rate Hattons performance against Paulie as his best, he didn't clinch like he did against Kostya. He whooped Paulies ass, every so often it was Paulie lunging in and clinching like the announcers pointed out.

I think it will be interesting but an easy Khan win. he wasnt outboxed. hatton beat the sht out of him. same with cotto. paulie will never succeed vs physical pressure fighters with power becuz he doesnt have the power to slow them down. all he can really do is run and flick the jab. khan isnt that physical, he doesnt have that type of power and the newer khan is not a pressure fighter.

Paulie's got a shot because he's a really skilled boxer and there's no way Khan has the power to break him down. You can discredit his power, but no way can you question his toughness and heart after his face was all ****ed up like that. So it depends if he can outjab, Khan, really. I think he can, but not enough so that I'd bet on it.

I just cant get the picture of Khan being layed out by prescott out of my head. Even though paully malignaggi could barely knock me out, he has the boxing skills to be more than simply a live underdog
