Just want to clear this up for so i don't have to read anymore stupid shit.
Pac did no "MAKE" Oscar do anything. Pac did not make Oscar come down and fight him at 147.
As if any fighter could make the golden boy do anything. When you fight Oscar you fight by his rules....period. Oscar was the cash cow and the most powerful fighter (from a negotaiation standpoint) in boxing.....with his own "real" and "functioning" promotions company.....that means he makes the rules. Floyd fought by his rules the first time around and had to again if he wanted a second go.
He thought it was only fair to come down to 147 because every1 thought Pac was "small." However, there is no way in hell we can say Pac used his position to drain Oscar.
Just wanted to clear that up.
So Oscar being drained by team Pac not an excuse he can use or the fans can use.....he did it to himself....it was not Pac or Roachs doing.
Having said all this it still does not change the fact that ODLH was indeed emaciated during that fight. So to me it's not an impressive win at all for Pac. As Pac fans you shouldn't be taking credit for that win and saying oh..."Floyd barely beat Oscar and Pac got a TKO" .....it's laughable.......why???
Firstly ODLH was lucky to have taken 4 rds from Floyd and their fight was at 154 (Floyd having not bothered coming up stayed at welter). Oscar chose all the stipulations and whilst not at his best was still very good at that weight. Against Pac he came in at 145...he couldn't even rehydrate with a saline drip and wasn't even a walking punching bag.....more like a stationary one....the man looked like air dried beef.
Pac fans this is the truth, his win against Oscar is not impressive when you look at other wins on his resume, and it doesn't measure up to the Oscar Floyd fought at all. To compare both fights is revisionist history at it's finest and really is quite laughable. to the floyd fans.......Manny did not "drain" Oscar.....Oscar screwed hiself over.
THAT IS ALL.
let me remind your stupidass that pac just fought once at 135 prior to fighting hoya.......now , you blame him for not fighting at 154?.......damn, some really have an IQ of dogshit...
And he is proud to call himself a boxing fan.. LOL.
i have to add that PAC or No PAC ODLH was going back to WW that was his plan, the reason he fought forbes at 150 a fight before Manny, prior to the fight Margarito, Williams even cotto are or lining up for a fight against ODLH @147 ...
PAC victory and the way he won was and is impressive as it gets...He said he would fight the winner of cotto-margo fight hoping it would be cotto but when margo won in a brutal fashion, he went after floyd for a rematch. For some reasons, floyd retired so hoya went after pac for an 'easy' fight. Well, it turned out to be an easy fight indeed, if you know what i'm sayin'.

THAT IS ALL.OKay I got your point but why make a thread about pac-hoya when it is floyd-mosley who are fighting in the near future?
Don't you find talking about pac a little tiring?
Don't talk bad about Oscar. He's everything you want in a fighter. He fights for pride, not his resume. He gave his everything and wanted to win at all costs. He declined in the end, yes. But who doesn't?

PAC victory and the way he won was and is impressive as it gets...
he picked on smaller SSM. Got beat twice! Then picked on smaller PBF. Got beat up again. Then did what NO OTHER fighter in boxing could do!!!! He made the boxing commission and the paying public believe that him fighting a jr.lightweight in Manny Pacquiao was a legit fight. The dude got MOPPED!! Drained or not he had no buisness fighting an opponant that small!!!! Let alone, getting WHIPPED the way he did.. Couldn't even win a round!!! MYTH? NO! It's called ASS-KICKED. Or others might say FRAUD!!!!!! BUT HE GOT YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!
never been a fan of the man myself.........very good fighter in his prime though..........all that money destroyed his drive.
Why do people think Pac wouldn't go to 154 fight Oscar? Really who turns down Oscar besides Winky Wright?
Oscar never gave that option, never brought it up. All you guys saying Pac won't go to 154 is not a fact is an opinion. And, honestly we would never know....
so you're saying DLH had a choice to have the fight at 154 and instead decided to fight at WW?
he'd be laughed at by the boxing world. luring pac 19lbs more higher from LW where he had only ONE fight? LOL. that's what made him do it. stop twisting it that pac made him do it.
hey retard stop twisting it. it was DLH's choice, not that he had NO choice. he chased PAC, it was his stipulation. oskie was 151 even before his training camp started. fact.

Manny didn't force him to come down to 147 but there wouldn't have been a fight at 154 no way Manny would have went up there to fight him and rightfully so. But the biggest problem wasn't with Oscar coming down to 147, it was Oscar not rehydrating. He actually came to the fight weighing less than Manny. Either way i think Manny deserves credit for that win, but its obvious that Oscar was drained but it wasn't Manny's fault.
DLH had no choice to come down to 147 because Pac was not moving up to 154.

This has been done to death. WTF do you cunt's would have wanted Pac to do?? Move up 19 pounds from 135 to 154?? people forget pac took the risk and move up 2 divisions after only fighting once at LW. Thus everybody not giving pac the chance.
Oscar only had to cut 3 more pounds from his last fight with forbes prior to Pac which was at 150.
You compare DLH's statement about himself to what Roach is saying about oscar?
I take what Oscar's ring performance showed and he showed he could barely move even with Pacquiao constantly moving. It was an impressive performance, but Oscar was drained.
Why is this even talked about?
Pacquiao dominated the fight, but I don't even really count that in any realm except it being a W on Pacquiao's resume, Oscar's condition was not even a shell of himself.
DLH had no choice to come down to 147 because Pac was not moving up to 154.
This. DLH viewed, and a lot of other people, viewed Pac as easy pickings at 147. That's why DLH fought him.
DelaHoya said he's in the greatest shape of his boxing life. Then PAC gave him a beating. Poor B*tch :D
And Freddie Roach said he was drained.
You're an idiot. Who in their right mind would jump up close to 20 lbs?
That's my point you ****ing idiot. Oscar had no choice, but to come down to 147 if he wanted to fight Pac. Are you that stupid that you lack reading comprehension skills?
