Sweet...It's good to see Martinez pull out a victory. Martinez fought his fight, boxed nicely, and kept moving.
I'd like to see a Williams vs Martinez 2!!!
Staphlik is done as a fighter. Too many bums, he ain't used to fighting at the top level anymore, and it will show. Just like Hopkins, I expect Martinez to do very well against him, just like Paul Williams would.
Lol 32 vs 18 for Martinez?
Where were these 32 posters when I made like 2 threads asking to bet points on Pavlik-Martinez? I only get 4 bets and it wasn't even from any of the threads.
im trying to find someone to bet with too. i got pav
Loew is a fukn joke of a trainer. Biggest thing holding Kelly back is him.
With that being said, I'll put 50 or 100k on kelly with you.
never mind, that's peanuts to you...

I think Pavlik wins. Quintana gave Williams more of a boxing lesson then Sergio. And Margarito ko Cintron twice and gave Sergio some problems. I think Sergio is a bit over rated.
Pavlik's power is overrated.
And Pavlik is too slow to catch Martinez w/ his shots. You need to be on the ropes or standing right in front of Pavlikkk for him to catch you.
Martinez never stands still.
lol! ya'll aren't watching the whole fights. most of pavlik's kd's and ko's start in the middle of the ring after he stuns someone with his right or uppercut. Then they are beaten into the ropes.
pavlik does not have slow hands, just slow feet, so you are right, he may not be able to catch up with sergio most of the fight, but I believe that he will catch up with him, seeing as sergio got hit a lot in his last fight. he got plowed by margs (who throws a lot of similar punches to kelly). now serg looked amazing v cintron but cintron doesn't have the length and power of pavlik, or the jab.
I'm on the fence with this one in a big way.
Factors against Kelly:
1) Jack Loew- horrible trainer. dude just thinks they can do what they do and don't need to adjust anything. he's a terrible coach during the fight, horrific strategist and just generally unprofessional.
2) Has a lot of problems with infighting. Kelly needs you at the end of his punches.
3) Obviously has problems with movement, hopefully he has learned to cut off the ring a little better.
Factors against Sergio:
1) Likes to fight from the outside. He stay out of range and works his way in. He will get hit on the way in and out by Kelly, who is an underrated counterpuncher.
2) Leaves his hand down too long after punching. If he gets hit like he did V pwill it's night night time for Sergio.
Kelly keeps his hands up all the time, which may frustrate sergio, who I think needs to get inside and stay there. Work the body.
I'm leaning towards Kelly right now cuz he's a big strong ww with heavy hands. I think he'll eventually catch up with Sergio and blast him out or wear him down.
Anyone want to put down a friendly wager? 100k or so?
Martinez by 6 round TKO, If someone wants to now my reasons just type on youtube.com ... Pavlik vs Espino Fight highlights, if Sergio work hard on the inside with his right hook, he scores the KO!
Martinez is gonna whoop Kelly's ass :lol1:....but being as though they'll be fighting in Kelly's gym I think Martinez will get what Floyd got over Oscar....robbed of a UD and given a SD :boxing:
i think sergio martinez has a very good chance at the upset on saturday based on the fact that he has more quickness and good toughness shown in the paul williams fight and i think he has good boxing skills and heart to match kelly pavlik and take his middleweight titles too....:crucified
