I don't even blame Haye that much. I think his trainer/manager Adam Booth is the big cockblocker in the background. Haye should get a professional manager and get rid of this amateur Booth and who knows fights would get made much quicker and Haye would fight more often rather than just once a year or so.
ehhh.... by reading your last post it sounds you blame haye for a lot of things actually.
All im saying both sides have to give a little here to get the fight done, klits need to recognise Haye' input in this fight and haye needs to accept the Klits are top dogs and are also part of the reason this is a big fight.
Its not ONLY Haye' fault the fight hasn't happened in the past.
Can any Klit fan admit that?

I agree. I would have done the same.
But then (!) Haye also has to live with people ripping into him now, measuring his own action (or inaction) by his own high standards.
* Didn't he say the Klits only fight "old, over-the-hill opponents" -- why does nobody ask what choice of opponents he is and was facing?
* Didn't he say he doesn't care about money, he only cares about glory?
* Didn't he say he "definitely" will fight the Klits "immediately" after he would win the WBA belt from Valuev?
* Didn't he say Sauerland's contract was "easy to negotiate with" while the Klits were "greedy and impossible to deal with"? Yet we now found out Sauerland and Valuev/Don King enslaved him into a three fight deal with rematches and what not.
For how long will we fans let him get away with half-truths or even outright lies?
Again, I would do the same thing Haye is doing, playing with the dreams and hopes of boxing fans, playing them like dumb bitches while laughing all the way to the bank. More power to him, he will get filthy rich as long as he has millions of loyal British fans.
But that doesn't mean I as a boxing fan have to let him get away with it.
* again he signed to fight valuev for reasons already stated, ruiz was due his shot as in the contract, the barrett fight he was just testing the waters only his 1st 'real' fight at heavy weight i think he gets a pass for that
* when did he say that? i think your just making stuff up now aren't ya? If not prove me wrong.
* no, he said he would sit down for negotiations with the Klits after he took care of his mandatory and if the deal was right the fight will go ahead, as said on sky sports news plenty of times
* true but he said the Klits didn't acknowledge what he brings to the fight, hence the shitty money, when hes done all the hard work to hype up the fight, why should he let the klits take all the money, hes essentially generated, obviously the klits desverse a fair share as the top dogs but so does haye for making this fight as big as it has become, so its clear Sauerland recognised his value thats prob why he feels their easy to deal with as hes been treated fairly, the klits just treated him as another mandatory, when its clear this fight makes much than any other.
And its only one rematch not 'rematches' with valuev on his call so its not immediate and the three fight deal only means they get a percentage in his next three fights, they dont get the final decision on who he fights as GBP are invovled aswell
so really hes still got freedom to fight who, when he wants after getting ruiz out of the way (depending if and when valuev calls as the rematch isnt immediate), while if he signed with the klits he would be locked down to a possible 3 fights with the two bros with no scope for change or making his own decision from fight to fight
People who say he bitched out really dont address some of these issues. Am sure many people would have done the same thing. I know i would.I agree. I would have done the same.

Well look you made a good post. Not the typical drivel that many Haye fans produce.
But let's also look at how the Setanta-based contract came about. Allegedly - and we have to take this with a grain of salt obviously since this comes from K2's Bern Bonte - Haye was offered a fixed sum and part of the gate.
According to Bonte Haye said "No I don't want any of your money, just give me 100% of the UK PPV and nothing else, I will hype the fight in the UK so I will make way more than what you can ever offer me". K2 was like "Are you sure? Should we put it in the contract?" "Yea, let's go!"
All this was done by Booth/Haye while they KNEW Setanta was in trouble while we were in the worst recession since the 1930s. The rumours about their bankruptcy were swirling around for months.
So in essence I think it may be a bit one-sided to blame the contract falling apart to just the Klits. Haye wanted this contract, he willingly - driven by financial interests - placed a bet on Setanta although he knew they may fall apart any day.
Also you have to remember he was just coming into the division and this was his only shot at a title, he he really didnt have a leg to stand on regards negotiations.
Regards the Vitali fight he got offered better money (he said this), easier fight (valuev) for a title and the possiblity for a future unification would make the klit fights an even bigger one money wise and legacy wise. Smart business move imo.

There was still a whole lot of racial inequality at that time, remember the 1960's was the Civil Rights Era. Racial segregation, where blacks were separated from whites, didn't officially end unilaterally until about 1967, if I remember correctly. Crazy to think it's just about 40 years back..Racial inequality is not slavery.
Are you comparing taking coke to changing your name and fighting under it?I'm saying I don't care what fighters do outside the ring.
I get it's important to you, but try to understand it's not important to me.
Sure.... they had slavery in the US in the 1960's...

I mean my interest in the man starts and end with his skills as a boxer and promoter of fights he took part in.
In the same way that my interest in Joe Calzaghe starts and ends with his skills as a boxer and promoter and why i never watched him dancing or care what drugs he took after he retired.
I'm a boxing fan it's as simple as that, it's a sport, i love it and have an interest in the people who partake in it. what they do when not partaking in said sport has no interest to me.
Are you comparing taking coke to changing your name and fighting under it?
You are cunt bro. Its his fukking name idiot. Its not some charity event he held for the poor.

Erik and Hammerheim. You guys dont know what the term slave name means?
"A slave name is a name given to a person who is or has been enslaved or a name inherited from enslaved ancestors. Modern use of the term applies mostly to African-Americans and West Indians who are descended from slaves, and can be used in a derogatory manner."
Cmon Erik.
what part of "i don't care about anything he did outside the ring" are you struggling with?

If you know ANYTHING about Ali. Youd know he fukking hates that name and damn near beat a guy to death because he kept calling him that.
Meeting Ali and calling him Cassius Clay is a slap in the face. You are a cunt.what part of "i don't care about anything he did outside the ring" are you struggling with?
