I highly doubt Haye or Klitschko would agree to having a possible fight at the O2 Arena in Germany or Wembley Stadium in England.
Wouldn't it make more sense to have a such a big fight in the greater boxing market in America? Possibly at the MGM in Vegas.
Yeah mate, Germany seem to have some good footy stadiums were the fight could be held. I reckon the talks between the fighters regarding venue / pay-split are going to be a pain in the arse again. Just hope the fight(s) finally get made.
Totally agree. That is what will block the fight where it will be held. I'm sure K2 and Saureland would prefer it been in Germany.
If it was this summer could of held it at Old Trafford or Wembley and no doubt would of been huge.
Yeah Wembley would be my preferred option but think it will end up in Germany myself.

Id like to see it at Wembley from a personal point of view as id get tickets if that was the case.
(also as i dont think il be visiting Wembley with Liverpool anytime soon :dunno: )

Not recently, but he fought in the US like 7-8 years ago, at the beginning of his pro career.
Ah, so he did. That fight doesn't appear to be in my collection...
Wembley would be good, but at the same time I wouldn't mind seeing it happen on neutral ground. Besides, Haye hasn't fought Stateside yet.Not recently, but he fought in the US like 7-8 years ago, at the beginning of his pro career.
Wembley holds 90k now. With floor seats that they can build on the pitch, maybe 100k can fit.
I'm telling you in the summer, England is damn nice. The sun stays up to near 10PM and it's about 25 celcius. Really beautiful.
I'll go and see it for sure.

I'm not saying they haven't but you really expect Wlad to defend his unified titles in England against an opponent that's been talking more trash then Floyd Mayweather on the new 24/7?
I would love to see a completely quiet pro British crowd staring down at their hero down and knocked out on the floor as much as the next guy, but I wouldn't bet money on it happening.
As long as he gets the bigger share of the money I'm sure Wlad will have no problem fighting Haye wherever.
Yeah, it's not like the Klitschkos have ever fought out of Germany before

I think the fight would happen where there's most money. I don't know if a Wlad - Haye fight would currently sell out Wembley? And generate the best possible gate and sponsor revenues?
It would sell out any stadium in Germany that's for certain. Not sure if German ticket prices could be as high as the British though, but then again the British Pound has lost 25% of its value against the Euro during this financial crisis.
I can't see the Klits fighting outside of Germany, and recent events like Haye supposedly eyeing a 50/50 purse mean that he likely won't take too kindly to fighting in the Klitshcko backyard.

If they want to have the fight in Europe they could at least do themselves a favor by hosting it at Emirates Stadium, the most high tech, state of the art venue in all of England as long as they don't mess up the pitch. ;)
the emirates is a soulless shithole and i'm a season ticket holder.
Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt Germany

a capacity of 51,500 spectators..... it is among the 10 largest football stadiums in Germany......its also a 5 minute train ride from the Frankfurt International Airport which would make it convenient for the LOYAL traveling Brits......and a 10 minute drive from the AFTER party I will throw if this fight comes to Frankfurt!! :cool2:
This is a stadium event. Putting this in MGM when americans dont even want to put Wladimir on TV would be a shame.
I dislike Haye quite a bit, but Wembley is probably the best stadium for this.
It has to be either in Germany or UK, it makes no sense for this fight to be in USA.
