May 1st might be May's last

I'm not trying to flame on this one, but if Floyd beats Shane and the negotiations with Pac fall apart...there won't be any other fights left for Floyd and he might just retire. Think about it...Arum won't let any of his other fighters take those OST, because by doing so, it will make Pac look bad. Alsoe, since Khan is tied to Roach and Ariza you can rule that option out as well. Another thing people seem to forget is that Haymon an unwritten rule that prevents his fighters from fighting each other, so there goes Williams and Berto, and outside of that....I really can't see any other fights left for him. Remember he is 33 years old....so May 1st might be the last we ever see of him. All fighters that fight could be their last.

It doesn't matter what GBP says....Alvarez team has already said no and even laughed at the thought of Alvarez facing Floyd right now. Alvarez vs Floyd wont happen for another 2 or 3 years. Also Ortiz fight won't happen either as well as Khan. Both fighters are being built up and it makes no sense to rush them into a fight like that. A fight that wouldnt shock me would be a Margarito or Cotto fight. Ill tell you why. Even though Arum has his beef issues with Floyd he can toss Marg or Cotto at Floyd since they are on there last legs anyway and make a boat load of cash out of it. I think Arum would do that over risking Floyd beating Pac and putting a dent into the Pac train. Marg or Cotto for Floyd wouldnt shock me.

HBO wouldn't even approve of those as Boxing After Dark matches....let alone PPV events. Also you can forget about Cotto, Margarito, Pavlik, Valero, and Foreman because they will all have to take OST. He has plenty options...maybe not Pac money options but plenty...he can make millions fighting Cotto, Berto, or P.Will at 147...and a few other options at 154 or fighting a Jr. Welter... As far as Williams and Berto being under Haymon...Berto doesn't have any other options unless he fights another BAD level fighter...aint shit at 154-160 for Paul Williams...except Pavlik

If he really can't get a fight with Pacquiao then I'd like to see him move up and test himself that way instead. What I really don't want to see him do is beat up a few more lightweights then retire again.
