I'm not trying to flame on this one, but if Floyd beats Shane and the negotiations with Pac fall apart...there won't be any other fights left for Floyd and he might just retire.
Think about it...Arum won't let any of his other fighters take those OST, because by doing so, it will make Pac look bad. Alsoe, since Khan is tied to Roach and Ariza you can rule that option out as well.
Another thing people seem to forget is that Haymon an unwritten rule that prevents his fighters from fighting each other, so there goes Williams and Berto, and outside of that....I really can't see any other fights left for him.
Remember he is 33 years old....so May 1st might be the last we ever see of him.

All fighters that fight could be their last.
It doesn't matter what GBP says....Alvarez team has already said no and even laughed at the thought of Alvarez facing Floyd right now. Alvarez vs Floyd wont happen for another 2 or 3 years. Also Ortiz fight won't happen either as well as Khan. Both fighters are being built up and it makes no sense to rush them into a fight like that.
A fight that wouldnt shock me would be a Margarito or Cotto fight. Ill tell you why. Even though Arum has his beef issues with Floyd he can toss Marg or Cotto at Floyd since they are on there last legs anyway and make a boat load of cash out of it. I think Arum would do that over risking Floyd beating Pac and putting a dent into the Pac train. Marg or Cotto for Floyd wouldnt shock me.
They would.
GBP are already waiting to toss Khan, Ortiz, and Alvarez at Floyd.
Alvarez team its a win win for them. Alvarez wont get damaged and they'll make about 10 Million dollars. No shame in losing in losing to Floyd at 20-21 years old.
Then you have the live gate of over 100,000 seats?
Then PPV's?
This fight will happen one day.

There's plenty of fights at 154 that he can take on. I wish Cory Spinks wasn't under Don King. He would be a monster at 154 and a fight between him and Floyd would have been pretty big.
They would.

hahaha lol at MGM! Your talking shit again burner... remember JMM!
I agree. The only problem is that Alvarez is too green, and his team has already said that he is 2-3 years away from a Floyd fight. Unless they don't give a sh1t about Alvarez, there is no way in hell anyone would rush a future star into a ridiculous bout like that.

Floyd vs. Alvarez tonight would sell out Azteca Stadium.

I'm not being sensitive, bruh. I'm just telling like it is. He needs to check his facts before he open his mouth, i'm just saying that both Floyd and Shane has a rematch clause in their contracts.
I guess posting like this makes you feel good...but oh well
Floyd made over 20 Million fighting JMM. He can get paid vs. every fighter on this list.
U honestly believe that bro? Remember Floyd did those buys by tapping into the Mexican fan base (just keeping it real). So who on that list is gonna have a huge fan base to help Floyd do numbers like that. Rember you gotta exlude Top Rank guys cuz of Arum and Alvarez and Khan are way too green for Floyd.
Floyd will retire again until someone like Pac would show the money fight, then we will see Floyd unretire and fight this tailor made fighter like JMM.
So whoever that turns out to be is tailor-made for Floyd?:bs2:
Cintron
Berto
Cotto
Williams
Mosley (again)
Collazo
Margarito
Bradley
Maidana
Ortiz
Khan
Alvarez
Alexander
Martinez
Pavlik
Valero
Diaz
Campbell
Paulie
Sturm
Sylvester
Angulo
Foreman
Dzinziruk
Thats over 20 options. Floyd is at the star level where he can still make millions.
nah. floyd is the best and he has nothing else ot prove. he should just retire.
Let me break down this list burner on why that's not the case
First guys like Dzinziruk (hasn't fought in forever) Sylvester (fukkin nobody and he's better off fighting Matt Hatton) Sturm (still hasn't gotten his contract neg. worked out) are all guys who the general public has no idea about. HBO wouldn't even approve of those as Boxing After Dark matches....let alone PPV events.
Also you can forget about Cotto, Margarito, Pavlik, Valero, and Foreman because they will all have to take OST. The only problem is that if Arum allows that then Manny looks very bad....something Arum simply won't let happen. Also Khan is a Ariza/Roach connect and for damn sure Roach won't take part in it because it makes his #1 fighter look bad if he did.
Alexander, Alvarez, and Ortiz are too green for a guy like Floyd and with the Haymon ties you can forget about Williams and Berto
With that said the only fights that they might take is a Bradly fight, but that's not a PPV event which basically leaves Floyd fukked.
Remember Floyd is all about the money and there will be no big money fights available for him. This is just how I see things, and I'm hoping someone can show me different.
Floyd made over 20 Million fighting JMM. He can get paid vs. every fighter on this list. Floyd wont care if they are green or not.
To all the people who replied about the options of Floyd, It shoulda, woulda, coulda have done this a long time ago. The TS is right, Floyd will retire again until someone like Pac would show the money fight, then we will see Floyd unretire and fight this tailor made fighter like JMM.
He has plenty options...maybe not Pac money options but plenty...he can make millions fighting Cotto, Berto, or P.Will at 147...and a few other options at 154 or fighting a Jr. Welter...
As far as Williams and Berto being under Haymon...Berto doesn't have any other options unless he fights another BAD level fighter...aint shit at 154-160 for Paul Williams...except Pavlik

If he really can't get a fight with Pacquiao then I'd like to see him move up and test himself that way instead. What I really don't want to see him do is beat up a few more lightweights then retire again.
