Williams is with Haymon and there was no money in matching those guys up liek that since Williams could go do his own thing. The other fighters you listed are all Arum fighters and Arum hates to do business with Haymon jsut as much as he does Floyd. I fail to see how this would all be Haymon's fault.
I'm watching the Berto-Collazo replay and see Berto went down to Haiti and helped out for several days after cancelling the Mosley bout. I wonder if his adviser had anything to do with that.
You're a fool if you think a 38 year old Mosley who throws wide shots can beat Mayweather Jr.
huh? I picked Floyd to beat Mosley.... and what the hell does that have to do with what i just said?... You got sonned take it like a man
Pacquiao, Cotto, Clottey, Williams, Margarito, all were top 147 pounders Floyd and Al Haymon avoided. Exposed? The only one who is exposed is you. Floyd fought two opponents in a row who didn't belong at 147. Floyd will fight left-overs now of that of war-torn Cotto.
As Gambler mentioned, Williams is a Haymon fighter. Would you say Williams has been matched up weak?

Agenda exposed. Seriously dude, are you tryin to imply Floyd Mayweather is a protected fighter?! He's fought bigger opponents all his life, he's taken p4p champions 0's himself but never went searching for crappy 0's (like the ones they breed in Germany - crappy fighters with an 0 designed to make someone else, who also has an 0, look good). He's fought the p4p #2 and now will fight the p4p #3 and real WW champion of the world in Shane Mosley, all this coming out of retirement and he's a protected fighter?
Al Haymon is an African American working for African Americans and for others too, but this fact, the fact a thinking, very intelligent man is working outside the rings for his clients and his name is not Arum, King, Hoya or Warren, he's not flashy, he's not involved in crimes or drugs and he does an hell of a job can be frighting and new to some people but you need to understand the kind of management that was done to Tyson will never repeat in the US. Someone with Tyson's talents will definitely go out as an ATG and possibly an 0 when he's done, if he was managed by good, intelligent people who cared for him. For the good and for the worse, boxing has indeed changed forever.

They have to protect his identity, they think people don't like him at all because he protects fighters 0 and tries to find the easier opponents while avoiding the more challenging ones. Which I guess most adviser and or promoters do that, but when it starts to get late in your career you should not be doing that as much. You should only really be looking for the easy fights when your a prospect. Alot of fighters under him aren't really prospects anymore.

I like him he has a eye for talent probably why he has so many good fighters people say they never see him he was sitting right next to Andre Dirrell at the Berto fight last night
Your an idiot if you think he thinks that... Floyd and co. are looking to making up to 100 million dollars for fighting Pacquiao; Floyd is 33 years old and the division is dwindling down with stars, after Mosley you couldn't find 3 fights for Floyd put together that'll make more money then the Pacquiao fight... haymon wants the Pacquiao fight just as much if not more then we do... Haymon is one of the smartest men in boxing

Finding the biggest pay-days with the least risks. If Al Haymon has his way, Mayweather Jr/Pacquiao will never happen because its too risky financially for him. Sure he could make alot of money off the fight, but at the same time if his fighter loses... Well, that would take a huge hit for his profit margin.

I see everyone saying this I dont have any issues with the fights we get on HBO.
I am fine with most of them, HBO got a lot of heat last year but there were some damn good fights on HBO. Berto-Collazo and Williams-Martinez were both quality fights that involved Haymon guys.
From the stand-point of money making, but from the perspective of the fans its kind of depressing in a way. I mean by the time if Mayweather/Pacquiao happens, will one fighter be more on the slide then the other? I wonder... The fight will probably be pointless then. Or worse, what happens if one loses before the fights ever made?
You blame Al Haymon completely for that and put none on Arum who was constantly in the media running his mouth while he was suppose to be on vacation not involved with the negotiations.
Al Haymon is involved in the business side of the sport and is looking at thigns from a business point of view, if either the networks or people through PPV buys are buyinghis guys stuff it is hard to fault him.
Polotics have always been involved in the sport, it is not like all the big fights between the best guys always happeaned in the past, infact it was easier to freeze talented guys out so the ticket sellers didn't have to lose.
This kind of thing does not begin and end with Al Haymon.
I'm not a psychic but I'm pretty sure I know the outcome of this fight already. Mayweather outboxes Mosleys wide-shot like most boxers have done to Mosley. Wright, Cotto, Forrest, they all landed alot of straight punches on Mosley.
And from the hbo hype-up to this fight, Mayweather Jr looks even faster then he did against Marquez in training. Mayweather Jr is just going to be too fast, too slick, and too smart for Mosley.
You know the outcome of a lot of big fights. And none of them are as intriguing as this one. And it'll bring in a load of casual fans so I'd say Haymon is doing fine.
Why is it depressing? Mayweather-Mosley is the biggest fight of the year.

That is basically correct, HBO and Showtime both bend over for the guy but he does advise alot of good fighters so he has some leverage. That said HBO and Showtime are the only games in town (really) so they should demand better product if they are displeased.

I agree with this right...
But, I also don't like how HBO bends over backwards for the guy. I think that hurt the sport. But, that is not on Haymon, he is doing what he has to do... It is more on Ross Greenburg...

He's done a pretty good job with Floyd Mayweather. Incredible, actually.
