well i just got my macbook pro about 2 weeks ago, and i AM having this problem so.... i dont understand why i would lie about my computer to people i dont even kno that are trying to help me. just wldnt make any sense Are you using Safari? I used to have the same problem with this site on my mac running Safari. It has nothing to do with you internet connection, ram or your computer. I literally CAN NOT scroll down through an entire thread without my browser thing freezing up and i have to wait for it to unfreeze for like 2 minutes before being able to scroll down more. Trust me, you aren't experiencing freezing and lock ups on a brand new Macbook Pro. I'm shocked you are having problems since most computer connections even the slowest ones now aday are 3mbps. Maybe you have viruses on your pc? In your browser you can turn off gif animations. It makes browsing through this site much easier.
