The card is in Florida, with a Puerto Rican fighting for a world title in the main event. A good 80%+ of that crowd is Puerto Rican, they were most likely taunting him.
Okay your probably right then if your right about the composition of the crowd but they weren't doing a good job of taunting because thats the fight Caballero's been wanting to make so that would make them kind of stupid. I saw it as them saying they would like that fight to be made similar to when they chanted mayweather at the end of pacs recent fights.
Caballero is really feather fisted and Lampley and Merchant went a bit nutty with the Leavander Johnson references. Johnson had been ko'd a bunch of x and Yordan was undefeated. Let the guy finish on his feet. An undefeated fighter deserves to right to finish on his feet. Anything can happen, 1 punch can turn the tide and Yordan could have done it if he was a bit ore busier. Good 12th round from Yordan.
Probably, he is somewhat feather-fisted, so the damage might be less than people imagine. But Yordan is going to be sore for a few days.
Try sore for a minimum of a week and when your getting pummelled like that to the head although most were to the body your brain takes more damage than one would think. Just because your not showing signs of being hurt doesn't mean the long term damage isn't being done. The fight would've been better off getting fight because he had no chance of winning and he's a young fighter who you don't want to take that many punches.
They weren't taunting him... Caballero has been calling out Juanma...but the rest is a very good point though.

anyone else think they are going overboard with the cruel and unusual beating BS?
Why would you listen to those morons? Especially Merchant...
The corner should have stopped it. The commission or ref cannot step in and stop a fight like that though. These are high level guys with serious careers on the line. The guy's corner was clueless and irresponsible, but to blame the commission or say this fight was way to brutal just shows that they just aren't boxing fans. It is a very brutal sport.
It's like if I go to a dog fight... I will be yelling "STOP THE FIGHT!" before the combatants even engage. I like dogs. ;)
come on quintana.
KICK SOME FCKG ASS!!!
Im with ya on that, but with all the Haiti clips showing, makes people go for Berto.
May the best man win.:boxing:
Interesting that the public is taunting Caballero by crying out "Juanma". However, Caballero and Lopez have a long way to go before meeting. The winner of this fight gets Gamboa, the winner of Gamboa-Caballero will eventually have to also fight the winner of Solis-Santiago. On the other hand, Lopez needs to win his mandatory. If both win all of their bouts, this might be an interesting fight with all of the badblood between them.

i think caballero vs gamboa/lopez would be great fights.
caballero swarms and gamboa/lopez are power punchers. great style match up.
yep, couldnt agree with ya more, I thought Caballero had more pop on those punches.
Caballero did Not impress, could not KO that kid with all that punching, he cant compete with Lopez or Gamboa.

caba is featherfisted, all those punches and yordan still coming forward. juanma stops caba.
Yeha thats what I think will happen as well. You gotta be able to hurt guys like gamboa and Juanma if you want to beat them. Caballero is nice though fun to watch too the fight need to be made. I would be willing to bet Gamboa fights him before Juanma though.
