If that ends the thread,
how did I make this post?
That thread doesn't do anything but say there were better fights out there for him.
If anything, you're making him look worse by posting that.
Instead of Mosley, he could have fought an in prime Pac.
Instead of a 2 fight lightweight in Marquez, he could have fought any top 10 welterweight.
Instead of Hatton, who is a jr. welterweight, he could have fought undefeated welterweight Miguel Cotto.
Instead of DLH, he could have fought any top ten welterweight.
Instead of Baldomir, he could have fought Margarito.
So what you're really doing is showing how more often than not,
he took the path of least resistance. So, in a way,
you answered my question.
Thanks.
Baldi was the man. He beat Zab who was the man.
I thought this was a hot topic. However, after reading the thread, out of 119 comments on this thread so far, about 100 of them seem to be from the thread creator. That is very sad.
Tortilla Warrior must be one of the most retarded posters P4P in BS. Don't even bother arguing with that clown.
This is the best and most accurate comment I have seen on this site in months.
in this portion of his career?
Mosley 38
JMM 36
Hatton 29
DLH 34
Baldomir 35
He can't keep up with the younger dudes or what?
Are you serious? You must have Floyd mistaken for Manny Pacquaio. Oscar was two years older when he fought Pacquai. So was Hatton. You don't know what the hell you are talking about.

Mosley 38

DLH 34
Baldomir 35
He can't keep up with the younger dudes or what?
1) because with DLH,Hatton,Mosley is where the most amount of purse he can get.
2) Baldomir,Mosley,DLH were the title holder at the time.
3) besides the younger dudes right now are not in the same caliber of fighters,in term of money to be earned,title,etc....they have to be looked at collectively.
And it all goes with the rest of the fighting world. be it from Klitsckos, Hasegawa to Calderon.
After scrolling thru this thread it really makes my head hurt that Flomos actually defend Floyd for fighting a journeyman fighter named Carlos Baldomir when any number of WW at the time were miles better.
Seriously do critics even mention Jimmy Braddock when they talk about Joe Louis and his resume? No!!! So why would Baldomir who was nothing more than a Cinderrella story even be mentioned as a "Quality win" for Fraud?
For fuk sake he was defending the Undisputed WW title against Arturo fuking Gatti the fight before. You know the guy who never did shit at WW.

DLH 34

Cause he only fights guys with a degree of talent when he has an advantage in the fight, either weight or age is usually the main criteria.
End thread.

Lol. If Pac faced Paul, hopefully we would never see the TS again. And considering the TS is pactarded, he really shouldn't be criticizing Floyd opponents.
Again,
what does Pacquiao have to do with this thread?
This is about Floyd,
and once again,
many of you have refused to answer the question, but instead talk about Manny in an attempt to divert the attention away from the original premise of the thread.
I'll ask again,
why, in the last 5 years, and we can go back further if you'd like,
has Floyd fought mostly older and out of prime fighters in this portion of his career?
Mosley 38
JMM 36
Hatton 29
DLH 34
Baldomir 35
Judah 28
Mitchell 35
Gatti 34
And here we have another irrational Pac fan. Man does this get old.
Mosely's so old that he's "too good" for Pac to step into the ring with without coming down to 142. So old in fact, the Pac dodged him completely.
DLH was so old that after Floyd fought him, Pac decided he'd fight him a COUPLE YEARS later, and ensure that he was drained and dehydrated coming into the fight.
Hatton is so old that after he was ruined by Mayweather(By Roach's own admission), and had taken a beating from Juan Lazcano, Pac decided to schedule a fight with him.
JMM was so old, that just a year earlier, according to nearly every fan, analyst, and expert at the time; He'd beaten Pac down, and arguably, for the second time.
Baldomir was so old, that he was coming off of wins over both Zab and Gatti.
Hilarious.
End thread.
Floyd has fought 40 fighters. You listed 5 of them. I assumed you meant these fighters were old considering that was the point you were making. If that makes me a moron, fine. And I explained why he fought the other fighters. Your clearly just out of your way to bash Floyd and whoever disagrees with you.
Not to be an ass but you should get your facts straight. Floyd has fought 39 fighters, he has fought 40 times. I know he likes to say 40 have tried, 40 have failed, but that is just more evidence of how dumb he really is.
Mosley- #1 WW
JMM -2 wars with the #1 P4P king
Hatton-undefeated at the time 140 lb Lineal champ
DLH-split decesion win (DLH was competitive)
Baldo-Lineal WW champ
As for your analogy if you are over 30 you are not a good boxer, I guess experience doesn't count. All of the sudden all these fighters are bums?
LOL @ you putting the undefeated, 29-year old Hatton in there. The guy everyone was demanding Floyd fight.
You occasionally make some really good points, but you just take it overboard to the point where you have no credibility and just get lumped in with all the other garbage NSB cunts.
You have reading comprehension problems too.
They have tutoring for that.
You should try it out so that way you can understand what words mean when they are put together.
The key words and phrases here are,
"mostly"
"portion of his career".
When you can figure out what those mean in relation to this thread,
you'll understand why Hatton was placed here.
By what ?
I brought up facts, indisputable facts.
Can you tell me why Floyd chose to fight mostly guys who were in their mid to late 30s in the past 5 years?
Very good points.
You were owned man. Kill the thread.

What an idiot, a guy who backs Pacquiao and he makes this shit thread, especially when 2 of those guys Pacquiao fought 2 years after floyd. Great job at being a professional retard, how much you get paid?
What does Manny Pacquiao have to do with Floyds selection of opponents?
I'm not sure.
But can you tell me why Floyd, the so called pound for pound best ever,
has spent the last 5 years fighting guys who are mostly in their mid to late 30s?
If you want to find out that information,
make that thread.
We're talking aboud Floyd here and how in this portion of his career,
hes mostly fought guys who were in their mid to late 30s, and well out of their prime.
Stick to the topic chump. You have questions, make your own threads.
This ones mine, and I'd like to know why Floyd has spent the last 5 years fighting mostly older dudes when younger, in prime fighters were available.
You were owned man. Kill the thread.
Why didn't Manny wany Paul Williams or Shane Mosely? Why does Manny only fight out of prime fighters who are essentially one handed without movement, limited defense, and on the tail end of their careers? Seems like you need a criteria for Manny to accept a fight...
If you want to find out that information,
make that thread.
