If floyd KO'S mosley shouldn't that make him P4P?

Aren't we talking about P4P rankings? Yes but you see i have heard people claim pac is no.1 welter ahead of mosley but he hasnt been beaten yet since he beat the No.1 welter in the world, so hes still no.1, just using the same logic thats all. We could even go back and say Pac hasn't beaten the man to become the man (P4P)

Hmmmm #2 beating #3 than becoming #1? No he would have to beat the #1 P4P/Fighter of the Decade. So beating only one (arguably) top 10 P4P in your last 4 fights, means the 'fighter of the decade' is deserving of top spot. Or did he inherit it, through default?

Based on manny's last sparring session against clottey i thinks it's fair to say if floyd wins by ko or puts on a great performance he should be crowned #1 P4P. even if he does win they still wont give him any credit maybe, if he can prove that he's clean in his last 40 fights then i would say he should be the lb4lb #1.

hell nah.... :no: Actually I have to agree with him. There is more of a possiblity that Shane outhustles and outworks Floyd then Floyd KO'ing Shane.

Mosley would have to age real quick to be knocked out by Mayweather. Both chins are granite in my opinion, this fights going the distance. Mayweather rarely gets hit so no one really how well he can take a solid punch and none of those opponents hit as hard as Mosley does. I honestly can only remember a few moments where Floyd actually got caught flush and he actually lost his balance on a few occasions. Shane on the other hand took flush shots from De la Hoya, Vargas, Forrest, and Cotto and finished every fight.

I doubt Mayweather would KO Mosley. If he does, he deserves to be P4P king though. If Sugar looks like himself and Mayweather wins a decision, I'd say he deserves the title. If Shane looks shot(which I doubt, I'm actually picking Shane to win this fight) then Mayweather should stay #2.

Just can't see Floyd taking out Mosley like that. But if Mosley catches Floyd with a good punches and drops him, Floyd might possibly clam up and play defense the whole night. No one knows how Floyd will react to a legitimate knockdown. Anything IS possible, but Floyd is going to have to take more chances than usual to stop Mosley. Floyd knows if he plays it safe, it could be a very easy win.

There are only two ways to be p4p #1. If you beat the p4p #1, or if the top p4p fighter retires, loses to someone else, or slips noticeably. Pacquiao doesn't fall into any of those categories yet. I doubt Floyd will ko Mosley. Shane is more likely to win on points than Floyd is by knockout and that says a lot. And Floyd of all people does it? A guy who is known for pot shotting at 147, and isn't really known as a power puncher at 147. That would be crazy. I would shat myself if that happens.
