Ok so both dudes keep saying they want a rematch, it could happen in the semi if dirrell can beat ward and stay in the tourney in round 3 or After the tourney is over, who takes it?
I can't stand this notion that once you lose your "0" you're a shot fighter. It's ridiculous. Especially when you consider the fact that some of history's greatest fighters came back from not just one bad loss but several.
Abraham will have learned a great deal from that fight. For years he's been used to having things his own way and so he has never needed to adapt.
Dirrell is a good fighter, but I'm yet to be convinced that he's anything more than that. I'm certain that - provided AA is sufficiently motivated - he stands a good chance of being competitive. Which is more than he was in all but a handful of rounds in their last fight.
And we know he retains an equalizer.
I have Dirrell winning by Dec again. As for AA letting his hands go...? it's not going to work, dirrell is too slippery. I see him getting countered just as many times as he did in the first fight.
abe doesn't even let his hands go much, and already he was showing signs of fatigue despite only really opening up at rounds 7-10(he was tired as shit at the end of that, he didn't throw any punches for the last 15 seconds and about 3 punches into the 11th)
if the guy opens up earlier, he'll only be more prone to counters against a fresher dirrell and will be tasting canvas more frequently because of his shit balance
This fight will be Roy Jones Jr vs Antonio Tarver 3 all over again. I have seen the story played over and over again. Once a fighter get's brutally knocked out 100% of the time the fight that opponent scared in the rematch. Dirrell wont press like he did in the first fight because I the back of his mind that KO will be in the back of his head.
Remember folks. Roy looked brillant and even dominate against Tarver until he tasted that power. After that it was a wrap and Roy fought scared as hell. Same sh1t with Dirrell. Also Abraham will open up earlier because he knows he can't sit in his shell and go for late KO's anymore. That last fight was a wakeup call and you would be a fool to think Abraham will try that again (try to go for late KO's).
lol, this is just you and wishful thinkin, we all know you were pickin AA to win
here's news, Lennox Lewis got brutally Ko'd twice, didn't stop him comin back and ko'ing the guys
dirrell doesn't seem to have that coward attitude, it's more of the disciplined attitude where he does what he's told to do
dont bother using the froch fight as an example, that was the gameplan, not dirrell
Your 150k on Abe. I'll gladly take Froch to beat him.
I just lost 10 bets on the Dirrell fight (all paid up), Im glad to take the bet with u, u have to remember me when the fight is closer, ok? pm me or something, because Idk how much points Ive got until than... u know
People still thinking Abraham would just find this amazing power at the end of every bout, pretty laughable. The rematch would go the same way with Dirrell winning almost every round. Maybe these myths about Abe will die when he losses to Froch too. Dude is a one division fighter, he won't accomplish anything at 168 except squeaking by a washed up Taylor, who was whipping him up until the very end. Abraham is pretty much your typical Euro hype with some power to spark peoples interest.
:dunce: hahhhahahahhaahahahahhahahahahahahahahaha

Taylor was losing on points before AA stopped him. :dunce:

if Dirrell can use an uppercut the next time around he is sure to catch Abraham. The uppercut was the only punch missing and who better to use than the bigger man. If anything it will keep Abrham from jumping in with those wide hooks.
dirrell already knows how to beat AA. the only thing is dirrell seems mentally fragile and he might be scared that AA will him while he's on the ground again.

No doubt Dirrell was the better fighter in the first fight. But I have doubts about his chin and the psychological effects of getting knocked out cold, legal or not.
now thats easy. the Abrahammer will catch him again. I dont give a shiet if it will be again a DQ
and while hes down I would hit him like in a MMA fight.
I think Dirrell would win again, but barely. AA would most defiantly be more prepared, and I bet a more prepared AA is a dangerous AA. This guy has some serious power if he can connect.
Dirrell already exposed him...
I'm going to say Dirrell gets the KO in the rematch....because he sure was stunning him in the last fight...
Hate all you want...
Dirrell>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Abraham
KO? I don't think so...
AA by KO. AA has no chance winning by UD with this style matchup. if he starts working from the start instead of the late rounds, eventually he'll land a big one that would stop dirrell's legs.
Dirrell by UD. AA wasn't making a lot of mistakes that could be corrected. He was just in with a guy better than him who stylistically had his number. I don't think his late surge would have been enough, even without the KO.
the same man who took the first
abraham has no chance
the second he opens up he's all over the floor and getting countered
it made him cautious the first fight, and a more experienced dirrell will make him cautious again
