Paulie's a great fighter, just not in Khans league.
Paulie is not a great fighter a b class fighter at best and you are right he is not in khan's league for he has not been put on his ass in the first round ever!! lmao I am In no way a khan hater but I am realistic and I don't get hyped up by boxers who have fought no body's ,over the hill legends or even worst got ko'd by nobodys thanks to freddy roach though he will continue his winning streak by fighting weak opposition, weight drained, old, catch weights etc....
i keephearing keep say Paulie is better boxer, better opposition, Khan not in his league but then they all say "but i think Khan will win" lol e-diotss

I too would love to see the fight right now but you have to understand when one promotional company has two good fighters in the same weight division usually what they do is have them try to cleanout the rest of the division before they fight each other. Its just good buissness and not only does the promoter make more money but the fighters also make more money.
Golden boy really isn't doing anything diffrent than what top rank is doing with Gamboa and Juan Ma so just chill out the fight will happen so long as Khan stays at 140. I don't doubt that he might move to 147 when he gets a little older.
I do understand it is a business. Not to sound disrespectful to you but I don't care about their business deals or how much money they would make. I want to see the best matches possible and don't mind paying PPV or a seat to see a good fight. I hate Top Rank and how it manipulates the system to earn money, but there is nothing that I can do about but vent my frustration by writing here.
If Khan was a contender and not a champ I would give him the benefit of doubt like a gave Victor Ortiz. But when you are the champ you have to take all commers and fight your way into greatness.
Cause he was the Mandatory, if he wasn't I wouldn't even mentioned it. Khan has the skills to beat this raw puncher, would had love to see it and would have even greater respect for Khan if he would had beat him. It would made the Prescott fight look like a fluke.

NO fukking way Khan stops Bradley. It'd be a close fight, Bradley proved himself against a tough talented veteran in Holt and against super talented Lamont Peterson, who's probably with his brother the most skilled guy at 140.
Remember this: Khan may be good but his only fight against a ranked Jr.WW was Kotelnik and IMO Khan looked scared of Kotelnik's "power".
Maidana is an overrated fighter. Great puncher but he hasn't done anything that puts him on Bradley-Khan-Malignaggi-Petersons' level. He's way below them until he beats one of them.
Khan has that rare kind of handspeed that can earn him wins over all of them but what we don't know is if he can go to war with them without being hurt or if he has enough confidence to let his hands go against ANY opponent.
vote
seriously, good fighters but just that.
Khan stops both within 8 rounds
Maidana eventually lands and Khan goes nighty night. Bradley outboxes him and might even stop him late
Neither fighter is overrated. Both are seen for what they are; Bradley is the best man at 140 sans Pac, who likely is done with 140 anyhow. Maidana is dangerous to anyone due to his power, but is crude and can be outboxed. People know this. If I had to pick one I'd say Maidana, because people on here think Khan was wrong to fight Paulie instead of him when Paulie is better.
Why does the fight have to happen now between Maidana and Khan? Whats gonna change in 3 fights even if one of them does lose a fight along the way?

Maidana got incentives not to go after the mandatory status with other high paying fights. If you find the details of Khan's contract he won't be facing Maidana atleast for 3 fights. Blame GBP for that one.
BTW not a Khan hater cause I'll be at the Garden to see what he is all about cause I'm a boxing fan. Expecting to see a good fight

using the term overrated is getting old. Who exactly is overrating these guys? their good fighters, who have fought pretty good competition recently and won and people become fans.
And what is he doing with that power and abundance of willing opponents? Paying Maidana to leave him alone and fighting Paulie Malignaggi.
One their is way more money in fighting Paulie instead of marcos and two Paulie may hit like a fruit but he can still box rings around anyone which would be just as detrimental to Khan if he lost to him instead of Maidana. If Maidana beats Bradley then all the future stars are gonna have to fight him anyways and if he loses to Bradley then nobody will care if he's avoided. So just chill out all will get sorted out soon enough.
Seriously I wish Boxing fans would be patient rather than being so quick to call someone a ducker.
paying Maidanna? stop making things up
GBP may have asked Maidanna to take the fight im 3 matches time, whats wrong with that? anyway Maidanna should be critised for not enforcing his mandatory.
Paulie is a top 140lbs. it will be a great fight

ok i think i am going to have to educate you.
there are two types of boxers, those who are draws and nobodies.
draws like Hatton, Khan can fight anyone they like and make millions.
then there are nobodies like Bradley,Froch,Alexander who bring no money to the table. Due to this, they will try and fight everyone and anyone. then you'll get these nuthuggers who would call them warriors for fighting anyone when in fact its out necessity.
every boxer wants big challenges, its just those who are draws a have more to lose and will take less risky fights earlier in their career.
so there you have it, Khan isnt ducking no-one. just that because he is a superstar everyone wants to fight him simply because of the money. and Froch is just like every other boxer who is just looking for a payday against draws
You hit it in the head, the most popular boxer is not the best boxer. If you get paid so much fighting B level why risk fighting A fighters. You are your own worst enemy. Instead of saying that he should take the challenges and prove to the world he is the best you endorse him taking low risk so he can attain a huge pay day down the line.
Great fighters get there buy winning un-winnable fights. As you see you can't even educate yourself, you stepped on you own tounge
Neither is overrated, except by the fans of Amir Khan. Both Bradley and Maidana are good, solid fighters and both would easily beat Khan. Neither one is a top 10 P4Pounder, but they are good up-and-coming fighters. However, the fact that Bob Arum is looking at putting Pacquaio in the ring with a washed-up has been in Margarito instead of one of these two tells me that both are quality opponents.
And what is he doing with that power and abundance of willing opponents? Paying Maidana to leave him alone and fighting Paulie Malignaggi.

Paulie is a top 140lbs. it will be a great fight
the fact that Khan has made tens of millions fighting mostley unknowns in his career so far gives him teh right to pick who he wants. the fact that every boxer at 140lbs wants to fight him gives him all the power.
And what is he doing with that power and abundance of willing opponents? Paying Maidana to leave him alone and fighting Paulie Malignaggi.
Khan has not earned the right to cherry pick and let his opponents come to him. Not nearly.
Prospects should be out there paying their dues and building a foundation for what you would hope will eventually become a great career.
Khan tasted fame and fortune too early and it has ruined his career up until this point and his credibility as a boxer. Now it's obviously not his fault that the deck was stacked in his favour from the start, but he is to blame for getting too comfortable doing the bare minimum and just reaping the rewards of a marketable image.
Khan won't take good fights because he doesn't need them? Fine. But while he's wasting precious youth on soft opponents real fighters like Bradley and Alexander will be building careers that will be remembered for the right reasons.
