because hGH is often taken by doping athletes in the off-season to optimize performance, the test is most effective when implemented in a no-advance-notice out-of-competition strategy.
Floyd didnt start blood testing till the fight was signed with mosley
Yet, under true WADA rules, he should be tested in the offseason as well. He shouldve started giving blood the moment he wanted manny to, to prove his point.
Will floyd continue testing after mosley, until he retires? He's so passionate about cleaning up teh sport, he should set an example by doing this.
Failing to do so would make him look hypocritical (not in his fans eyes) but to the boxing community.
If floyd does, I applaud him. The question is....will he? We know he trains throughout the year. IF he doesnt, he's only CHEATING himself, and CHEATING the tests that he's fought admirably for.
my problem is that two ego driven divas are preventing the fight to happen.
I dont care if pacquaio accept the drug test, or floyd drop the drug test.....as long the fight is being made and help boxing scene improve as a from eliminate one of the most retarded stannish fanbase around(unless the fight is really close or if it ends up a draw) then im all for it. I am a very big fan of both but i wont support any if they don't end up fighting eachother. I am already jumping on a falling ship with khan(im starting to be a fan but i know he is going to get knocked out cold)
so...is floyd roiding right now? if those 2 douchebags arent following him around retrieving bodily fluids at random, then obviously (according to floyd) the athlete is in question of using PEDS
Floyd made it his crusade to clean up the sport. He told us he was setting an example in a martin Luther king fashion in the sport of boxing.
PED use is most beneficial during the offseason in training. This was discussed by USADA before. For all we know floyd is roiding right now (according to his drug standards)
But for some reason floyd is only concerned about PED use the last 2 weeks of the fight. Does anyone really think roiding in the last 2 weeks will jack you up? it takes time to build muscle. floyd to me isnt concerned about cleaning up teh sport like he says. This is another case of floyd wanting attention. or else he'd be randomly tested until the day he retires
12) Are Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather Jr still going to be tested? Are they participating in any "out of competition" testing?
They are not being tested any more. They agreed if there was any reason, based on the pre and post-fight test results, they would continue to be tested in our 'out of competition' testing.

again, what does this have to do with Manny? this has turned into floyd and his pursuit of a drug-free testing.
Manny doesnt have to do shit, he's proved that.
Floyd however, is so passionate about it. Yet we havent hear if hes testing year round? wasnt that the point of the tests? isnt that a bit hypocritical?
Obviously a lot since you are the one who started the thread.
Your whole goal is to discredit the testing in order to create more excuses for your idol to avoid them. I guess the "let the commission do their job" and the "manny doesnt have to do shyt" excuses are wearing thin too.
So carry on little japanese general. Most of the world have begun to flush the bs coming from team pacq. I suggest you change your toothpaste real soon.

It has nothing to do with anyone but Floyd.
But Flomo-tactics 101 indicate that one must answer a question,
with a question as an attempt to divert the original questioners mind from his question.
You have to learn not to answer those questions until they answer yours first.
I wanted to see Manny vs Floyd, but the whole subject was olympic style testing, and floyd mission to "clean up the sport"
So now floyd is claiming its not just manny he wanted the tests to clean up his sport. , He's taking the (in his own words) the Martin Luther King path and standing up to the rules of boxing. He'd lead all of us by example.
IF he wants olympic style boxing to clean up the sport, fine. Just do it how its supposed to be done, and that includes his offseason training. Now if he doesnt, then I guess that wasnt his purpose afterall.
Does that answer your question?
Yup. If thats the stand he wants to make, and the figure he wants to compare himself to,
he should abide by the rules set forth.
Its quite funny how he always backs himself up into a corner with his mouth,
and then looks like a complete fool when he does the exact opposite and makes excuses why.
His out of ring antics are more entertaining than what he does inside of it.
Of course he won't.
It won't hurt his standing as a hypocrite, it will enforce it.
You Fail.

Off to the next angle to attack the test, I guess.
if Mayweather's motives really are to clean up the sport than good for him, i guess that's admirable, but when the steroid issue came up in baseball it only hurt the sport and tarnished legendary records. is this spring cleaning in boxing going to do the fans any good? maybe we should go back to sweeping things under the rug...if any changes need to be made to the sport it's in bad judges and hometown decisions
That's what I mean, too long, it's an entire transcript of the conversation. The majority isn't gonna read it (I do) because they're too lazy.
For those interested in these procedures, a short little press-release should be made, that YES Floyd has agreed to actual Olympic Style testing to the point that he even gets tested during non-training camp period.
For those who are looking to critisise Floyd on this issue, it's like looking for a needle in a hayestack . I've seen some people on youtube who just recently commented wondering whether Floyd/Mosley will be Olympic tested. These things need to be publicised and transparent since it's new to Boxing. That's how you promote these changes.
People would critise anything even if its a way forward, Thats how you know who the really boxing fans are, If Pacquaio turns up next week and said he want to get himself tested so all his fans knows he is clean then you would have all guys who are against testing suddenly declaring their love for testing..
How do we know Mayweather is clean when he isn't being tested year round?
Strange how the self procalimed Martin Luther King of boxing doesn't want to prove that he's clean...
Did you read the link that de100 posted?
He is being tested year round.

Trust me they're not going to stop, they would even claim Mosley lost on May 1st (If he loses) because he had to go through OST....
IF that's true and he indeed is getting randomly tested during non-training camp days, weeks, and months......then yes issue at hand is solved.
You had to dig deep into a conference-call video to find that, they need to get this into a published article so everybody knows.

Good post, first actual answer in the thread.
Fair enough.
But other people who are boxing fans as well can use that same logic and say, "If I get to pay my 60 bucks to watch Floyd vs. Pac and all it takes is for Floyd to drop his extra drug testing demands then so be it"
That logic swings both ways.
I see what you mean. Makes sense.
I didnt want to take it that far yet, I wanted to first make sure everybody understood what kind of people are asking these questions..
You know they gonna ignore the post too.
I think he should be tested and allow these tests to come in unannounced in the off season too, that is if he really supports what he says.. or if he's just talking b/s like so many other people nowadays..
