arum will try to make lopez fight vasquez and marquez, while gamboa will be fighting all the dangerous boxers. at the end, they will fight and if gamboa hasn't been through too many wars, gamboa's speed will be too much for lopez.

The featherweight division is lookin pretty good right now. You got Chris John, Gamboa, JuanMa Lopez, Rafael Marquez, Israel Vasquez, Daniel Ponce deLeon, Elio Rojas, Jhonny Gonzalez, Billy Dibb... I was wondering whether people feel the new breed - Lopez and Gamboa - could take care of the warhorses, Vasquez and Rafa? I personally think so, those guys have a lot of wear and tear.... though both would have a puncher's chance against Yuri... Vasquez and Rafa are pretty inactive. They would be awesome fights Gamboa And Marquez FTW!..

Hmm I dunno, didn't Arum say he wanted to put them in with the other names at 126 and clean out the division before squaring off? I'm not a big fan of John, not exciting, doesn't do anything spectacular, just does everything well. I thought his last fight with Juarez was actually pretty close. So he went 24 hard rounds with Juarez, a very limited guy, I think Gamboa would break him down actually. Juanma too.

I think Bob Arum is purposely keeping Gamboa and Juanma away from John. I think both fighters would have to go life and death with him had they ever meet….
