If Hatton wins this it wouldn't be an easy fight for him .Styles make fights and Hatton's always struggled with southpaws .McGee , Collazo , Urango , Pacquiao .I got Hatton winning a hard close decision in this one .
Have to think about it but Judah's absolute best was at 140. After Tszyu knocked him out...he didn't seem quite as confident for every fight. His career had ups and downs after that. So you never know with Judah. He has the capability to win but also to lose.
Zab Judah wins.
Like Cody said, Hatton wouldn't have the tools to beat Judah. Zab has the tools to beat Hatton. A strong jab puts Hatton in his place, and Zab isn't featherfisted either. Hatton doesn't have the mobility to manuever around the jab, he would get eaten up all day by Zab's reach and superior boxing skills. Hatton would get tired and then get reckless, comming in with his arms wide open trying to do his maul type style. Then get put to sleep by Judah's power.
Judah isn't a slouch on the inside either. Judah has the power to hurt Hatton. Has the speed to evade and 2-1 Hatton's output as well.
Spinks hits like a girl so Judah was never really scared of being hit.
Also, you must remember that with the exception of Baldomir (and Tszyu), all of Zab's losses have been to opponents who were able to neutralize his jab. If Zab is finding a home with his jab, he's VERY dangerous. Everything that Zab does well depends on his ability to land his right jab. I don't think Hatton would have had the tools necessary to negate Zab's jab.
hatton would break judah's will early unless judah landed one of his uppercuts. if judah lands that same uppercut he rocked tszyu with, it'd be an early night.
given hatton's style, he'd be more susceptible to that shot.
i'd still favor hatton though. i think he'd smother his way to the mid-late rounds where his stamina and will would take over.

True, BUT Hatton would have been much easier for a determined Zab Judah to hit than was Spinks. Hatton would bring a lot of pressure, but I think Zab's superior boxing skills combined with Hatton's tendency to become aggressive almost to the point of recklessness would carry the day for Zab. As long as Zab didn't get caught backing straight up.
The Zab Judah that showed up in the Corey Spinks rematch was the most determined Zab Judah I've ever seen. Even though it was a close fight before the stoppage, you have to remember that Corey Spinks was never a pushover. Spinks has always been an awkward, slick fighter but the Judah that showed up that night KOs Ricky Hatton IMO.

who wins at 140 LBS
Judah will always be one of my favorite fighters but I think HAtton stops him late. Judah never trains to fight for the full 12 rounds. He wouldn't be able to take the pressure. Think Clottey vs. Judah but more brutal.
