1. Manny Pacquiao
2. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
3. Shane Mosley
4. Paul Williams
5. Chad Dawson
6. Andre Dirrell
7. Andre Ward
8. Timothy Bradley
9. Hozumi Hasegawa
10. Pongsaklek Wonjongkam
It should include these 10 fighters in whatever order you see fit.
Dirrell, Ward and Dawson dont?
Id love to see what 3 fighters you would put in over them 3.
Well I already saw what fighters YOU PULLED OUT and I dont agree , so why would u agree with mine. Dirrel Ward and Dawson , as well with a few others need to really establish themselvels , as promising and as talented as they are.
if you consider a 50+ yr. old Johnson who last fought at ESPN and fighter/commentator Tarver great wins good for you. He got adamek I'll give you that. But to be fair LHW is crap so it isn't really his fault.
LOL @ 50+ yr old....
How did Johnson look in his last fight at ESPN BTW?
What win was Tarver coming off of when Chad beat him?
And, were they not ranked in the top 5 at 175 at the time?
Then you add the Adamek win
Yea you're right he hasn't done anything. No big deal at all...
Nothing really, just go 5-0 against top 5 LHWs. No big deal....

Mine would go like this:
1. Manny Pacquiao
2. Floyd Mayweather
3. Shane Mosley
4. Bernard Hopkins
5. Juan Manuel Marquez
6. Chris John
7. Wladimir Klitchsko
8. Paul williams
9. Ivan Calderon
10. Tim Bradley/Hasegawa
What has dawson done?? Ward has only kessler as a good win. Dirrell has a case due to the fact that he should have won the froch fight and beat Abraham. Ward and dawson has potential but haven't done shit. chris john who is 42-0 should be there. wlad klitchsko should be in there.

3. Shane Mosley
4. Paul Williams
5. Chad Dawson
6. Andre Dirrell
7. Andre Ward
8. Timothy Bradley
9. Hozumi Hasegawa
10. Pongsaklek Wonjongkam

Not a bad list in my opinion. I'd re-shuffle it a bit though and keep Marquez in there. A rematch of a Ring magazine chosen fight of the year is nothing to sniff at; we'll see how he looks.
My list looks something like this: (I haven't put too much thought into it though)
1. Manny Pacquiao
2. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
3. Shane Mosley
4. Paul Williams
5. Juan Manuel Marquez
6. Hozumi Hasegawa
7. Timothy Bradley
8. Pongsaklek Wonjongkam
9. Chad Dawson
10. Andre Ward
1. Manny Pacquiao

3. Shane Mosley
4. Paul Williams
5. Chad Dawson
6. Andre Dirrell
7. Andre Ward
8. Timothy Bradley
9. Hozumi Hasegawa
10. Pongsaklek Wonjongkam
It should include these 10 fighters in whatever order you see fit.
If anything it should be Manny, Floyd, Shane, and then Wonjongkam. Who cares about the rest.
Here you go. Sorry but Cotto & JMM deserve to be there.
1. Pac
2. Mayweather
3. W. Klitchko
4. JMM
5. Hopkins
6. Calderon
7. Dawson
8. Mosley
9. Cotto
10. Hozumi Hasegawa/Wonjongkam
Then essentially you defeated the purpose of me asking for on without them. To show that if you take them off your list would be similiar to mine.
Mosley at 8?
Cotto on there at all?
Hopkins at 5?
No Paul Williams?
Please....
Dirrell and Ward should not be on there yet. They just haven't earned it yet.
I'd keep JMM, you can't drop him completely off the list just because of the Mayweather fight despite who he is fighting, I'd put Chris John on there because it's a shame a 42-0 fighter isn't on the p4p list, and I'd put Devon Alexander or Andre Berto or someone similar before I'd put Dirrell. Maybe Ward gets in there at number 9 or 10, but I'd rather wait for another win from him to do that.
140 to fight at 118 is nothing. I'd go as far to say that most boxers are easily hitting 30 pounds above weight regularly after fights.
Only being 22 pounds in between fights would be a dream scenario.
I've read he gets as high as 140, which means he cuts a lot of weight. I know after the Perez fight he said he'd go as far as 126 to fight Chris John.
However, he was a guest commentator for TV Tokyo during the card that featured Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym vs Satoshi Hosono. Poonsawat knew he'd be commentating and said after the fight that if Hasegawa moves up, he'd love to fight him.
IMO, Hasegawa-Poonsawat is a great fight that should be made if he moves up to 122.
All the way up to 140? I never knew that. Hozumi cuts way too much weight then. He definately should move up, specially if he cares about his health. That's almost Hatton-esque.
Hasegawa-Poonsawat is a fight I would pay to see. I would need to stay up extremely late to catch it in action though. lol
Dirrell, Ward and Dawson dont?
Id love to see what 3 fighters you would put in over them 3.
Haye, Froch, and Khan idiot.
But really though. If Dirrell would have preformed better and gotten the nod over Froch, I would have him in the top 10, as is, no.
Ward only has 1 victory over top 10 comp at 168 and Kessler wasn't top 10 P4P either. He should not be in there... yet. He'll need to win against Green and whoever wins out of him and Dirrell should enter the top 10.
Dawson is top 5 P4P without much of a doubt in my mind.
Paul Williams should not be ahead of Dawson either. Other than that, you have a good list.
Yeah, I saw an interview of his a while back saying that he wants to move up because the weight is hard to make. Saying, he will either move up or hope to fight Darchy or Arce. His manager said something about doing the title defenses thing though.
I honestly don't know what he will do. I wouldn't mind seeing him move up finally and hopefully continue his dominating ways.

To be honest, I think he's going to move up shortly. Surprised he hasn't already.
He was reported as being 50/50 after his last fight with Perez. I guess one of his motivations it to beat the number of title defenses made by a Japanese fighter, which is 12 or 13 by Gushiken.

Oh aight then. Well 3rd most defenses then and it doesn't look like the streak will stop or slow down. :lol1:

Canizales has the record with 16, but Sahaprom had like 13 or 14, and was closing in on Canizales record when Hasegawa beat him the first time.

I think the record is like 14 and he has 10. I could be wrong on the record, it's been a while since I even checked.
