no question roy would dominate the majority of the fighters. we havent seen enough of andre ward though. i have a feeling ward would be a tough fight for jones.
Weren`t you the one who said Jones faked his loss to JohnsonÉ
your the only one who took that literally when i was obviously joking, and you cut off half the sentence
the weebler II is crazy
Froch batters a prime Jones
did you watch dirrell give it to froch, jones would have destroyed froch in his prime, and the shot jones from last night would destroy froch tooooooo!!!!!!
i don't know about dominate, the super six is loaded with talent. i wouldn't be surprised if he went undefeated, but there'd be some good fights inbetween.
thank god mikkel is leaving the tournament next fight, they never should have put him in to start with, the guy has always been a bum
A three time world champion is a bum? With those standards what would you call Dirrell?
If Roy was to participate in a super-six the other five would have been Tony Thornton, Antoine Byrd, Danny Garzia, Eric Lucas and the formidable Vinny Pazienza.
He wouldn't have it any other way. Roy would look unbeatable.
Agreed. Froch lost to a guy 1/10 of Jones speed and talent and Kessler lost to Ward.
Roy Jones beats everyone by KO except Ward
what?
u just created a thread where u claimed how happy u r to see a legend like jones ending his career with a bad performance.

and suddenly u say this ?
12years old? did i guess right?
I would love to agree with you man but I just don't know. I think Froch would be the hardest fight for a prime Jones Jr. Jones would outpoint him most likely but I'd say Froch has a chance at beating him if he would just press forward and keep throwing that vicious right hand...I think eventually he would maybe catch Roy, but we never saw Roy really get hit flush when he was 'peaked', so who knows...in any case like I said, I feel Froch's style and physique etc would be most trouble for him out of the super six. Abe would get soundly outboxed (more so than Froch, I feel) and I feel that between Abe and Froch, Froch is the man who would say, '**** it, I don't care if I take 10 to land 1, I'm gettin in a shot on this dude'
I also feel Froch would be the most resilient than others to a prime Jones Jr's arsenal
And, yes, I am American
Carl Froch isn't fit to lace the boots of Roy Jones Jr.
I'd have liked to see Nigel Benn v RJJ though.
I like how Froch doesn't care about what happens to him. The guy takes risks, and it's rare to see that on that level, a direct comparison would always have Roy being superior...but Froch just lunges in sometimes with his chin up and doesn't even care if he gets hit, and he can do that because he's got a good chin and behind that, a mentality that WILL get up...While Jones is far more agile and athletically superior, it's a given that Froch holds the edge in power. The raw truth is, and it sucks because he's a legend and one of my favorites, but the amount of time that Roy Jones Jr. was in his prime, he never fought a fighter like Froch.

As he should...

I was j/k, I don't even think Froch will beat Kessler. Yeah, Benn v RJJ would've been good.
im glad you were joking, i got scared for a second and thought you were actually serious
benn vs jones wouldve been great
