Chris Arreola is even more exciting than Haye.
He always slugs it out, has great action, has the same KO% percentage as Haye, he fights aggressively, doesn't run and throws 3 times as many punches as Haye throws.
Where's this pathetic hype coming from that Haye is the most exciting after almost losing to a shot Ruiz?
Arreola is far more exciting than Haye.
I don't think even drugs would have helped him, unless there are drugs that let you grow 8 inches because that's the kind of a height difference he was dealing with that night. The KO is all the more impressive because Tiger was one of the toughest men to ever fight with a cast-iron chin. Foster was the only man to flatten him.
Henry Hank was also another extremely tough customer that Foster stopped:
This is the rematch however where Hank lasted the distance. Difficult to get past that jab.
Tiger vs Hank was one of the best fights of the 1960's:
I agree Foster's height advantage was unreal, It was too difficult for tiger to get inside, sad how Tiger's life end though..
Arreola would annihilate Haye in 1 round. Arreola is fat yet somehow has even better stamina than Haye and far more active. Genetics anyone?
Arreola is only 29 and and already looks like the 47 year old George Foreman. ...Except old Georgen was actually faster and had more heart!
His last two wins were against a 5'11 cruiserweight and a braindead Mccline. Arreola is a walking piece crap and would get sent to canvas if he ever faced Haye.
haye's paycheck was coming from setanta and setanta only. do you suggest he should of gone ahead with the fight after they went bust and fought for nothing?
Another one of Haye's imaginary managers :lol1:
Haye isn't afraid and he will fight them. Otherwise he wouldn't have signed that ludicrous contract to fight Wlad last year.
"BUT HE PULLED OUT!", I hear you cry.
Well, yeah, but because he was scared? No, but because the UK broadcaster showing the fight went bust....is Haye gonna bring a Klitschko to Britain and fight him with no home TV audience and a huge loss in revenue? No, neither would you.
Haye should not be criticised for choosing to win a World Title, to put himself in a better negotiation position against the Klitschko's and to make that fight more prestigious.
Haye is an entertainer, he's a sharp quick, powerful entertaining fighter....he wants to bring the Klitschko's to England and put on a show and he will.
Give the guy a chance and see who he matches up with next, hopefully it will be one of the Klits, but until you know otherwise do not jump to conclusions because it makes you sound like the "haters" you so much despise.
Couldn't have said it better my self
chambers fought wlad without any coverage in the states. maybe haye needs to focus more on being a fighter than an entertainer. losing a broadcaster is not a good enough excuse to pull out of a fight when your job is to fight.
anyway, i thought he pulled out of the fight with wlad because of an "injury".
haye's paycheck was coming from setanta and setanta only. do you suggest he should of gone ahead with the fight after they went bust and fought for nothing?
Arreola's best win is............?
Arreola looked like an amatuer against Vitali. I mean what was the game plan? Get punched in the head for 12 rounds?
Arreola needs to go watch Jamie Oliver's food revolution, do some jogging and come back to the gym. He should be fighting around 220lbs. Not 260lb LMFAO.
Fat yank.
In that case they haven't put him against much. I didn't think he truly deserved a title shot off a win over McCline, who had been humiliated by Ruiz and everyone else in the division earlier. No doubt Arreola is a warrior, but he seems a limited fighter to me and I wouldn't convincingly pick him over any world class fighter. Adamek could be too fast for him, or Arreola could be too strong.
I agree with everything said here.
They are both exciting sadly Arreola uses his face for defence and also comes in looking morbidly obese..
big deal, you think Mayweather ran from Margarito (LOL!) so your opinion means even LESS, troll.
He did, duh
Since you think Haye almost lost, your opinion on boxing means nothing.

arreola proved a solid chin against vitali, but thats it, he didnt win one round.
i think adamek will beat him by an ud.
imo adamek's wayyy too small. if arreola was trim he probably wouldn't weigh much more than adamek, but that'd be his natural weight. adamek didn't look like he carried the extra weight well at all against estrada. he's probably still faster than arreola, but he's not the type to make his opponent chase him anyway. that and arreola's a lot taller.
back on topic, arreola throws a lot of punches for a fat man. i wonder what kinda fight he would've given vitali with a smaller gut and some extra footspeed. i liked haye's performance against ruiz, but he was pretty damn inactive those last few rounds.
I love your Bob Foster/Dick Tiger avatar, The right hand on dick marvelous..I think Dick would have to be on drugs to beat Foster on that night.

Tiger vs Hank was one of the best fights of the 1960's:
Arreola vs. Klitschko: Backed Klitschko up all night and had him running like a bitch at times. Threw punches constantly and went out on his shield.
Haye vs. Valuev: Ran away and back peddled all night from the feather fisted giant. Barely threw any punches and never had Valuev in trouble. Arguably lost a close MD decision.
PATHETIC.
Haye is not even CLOSE to the excitement level of Arreola
Haye W
Arreola L

For his size he doesn't possess the power he should, but feather fisted? He's still got 34 KO/TKO's in his 50 wins....and you think David Haye should gone toe to toe winth him for 12 rounds?
Haye's gameplan worked flawlessly, even if it wasn't a pretty fight.
He has that many KO's because he just leans on people and tires them out did you see his fight with Etienne he was basically throwing him around the ring and "KO'd" him by pushing him on the floor, i.e. using his size.
They have to put him versus Vitali because he's one of the most exciting HW's out there, and there are some good prospects like Deontay Wilder,Pulev, Helenius and Boytsov, but they are too green for the Klitschkos.
I mean Sosnowski is fighting for a World Title, there are not a lot of good HW's and the good ones have already been beaten by the Klitshcko bros.
He lost that fight comprehensively though, the only time he fought a top 10 ranked opponent in his whole career. You do have a point that there isn't much to choose from.
My suggestion is that the likes of Arreola, Kevin Johnson and others start fighting each other instead of beating clubfighters to pad up undefeated records until getting thrown to the wolves (the Klitschko brothers). Nothing that Arreola ever did in his career prepared him for the Klitschko brothers. He was like a deer in headlights. I believe this is a big problem in the current division, the contenders are not fighting each other. Arreola-Adamek is a decent fight though.
