Good post TS.
The way Bernard gets treated here is quite unfair if we look at him as a boxer.
He's been a terror in his earlier days and when age catches up in you, you can't fight the same type of fight or style you did 10-20 years ago. Hopkins has progressed well over the years, fighting more smart and conservatively with clean and precise punching and smart defence. That's a craft of its own to master. And let's not forget that he's 45 years old and still going. I've seen fighters in their mid/late 20's gas out earlier in a fight than him. It's like people forget that he's not in his best days any more...
BHop definitely did his thing. It lame how everyone is focusing on the fouls and not the fact that Hopkins won 10 rounds of the fight. No one was going to give him credit for beating Roy at this stage anyway. Oh well.
ive mentioned before this fight was made that bhop wont enhance his legacy by beating grandpa roy. but, at the age of 45 its really amazing that bhop can perform that well
BHOP pre?? mas ok pa panoorin si pavlik kaysa kay bhop na yakap ng yakap.
mas exciting si pavlik pare, kaya lang si bhop masyadong mautak, masyadong magulang :lol1:
The fight was kinda ugly because both are so experienced and old. But Hopkins sure looked far better then RJJ despite being 5 years older.
good post. i mean the guy is 45 and he can still box and move well, and can also deliver his gameplan to full effectivity. its really hard not to give credit to that guy
no he wasnt. he was boring, and constantly taking breaks! hes a good actor
i think the first rabbit punch really did hurt him, the second one im quite doubtful with :ugh:
He win an ugly fight though
some fans might say that its a typical bhop fight. but we gotta give credit to the guy, hes 45yrs old and he went out and did what he needed to do
