Why is he so overrated? Who he he beaten expect Dua and Byrd? Those are the only two worthy names on his resume.
Look at his resume: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=5981&cat=boxer
Look how at his opponents records, most of the have as man wins as loses. Even after he bea Tua, he fought two bums with records of 10-9 (Tim Ray) and 13-10 (Everton Davis).
I don't get what all the hype is about this man.
You might say "He wasn't a fantasy fighter" but all I hear is how he would've destroyed this guy and that guy.
squirrel, did you see my response to you?
Sorry man, yeah I did.
Makes sense, just i've never heard it being called the eye-test before!
Thanks for clarifying!
How do you "commentate" an avatar.
Well, you're the one that cares about the looks seeing as you're the one that posted it first, and in a rahter unwarranted fashion.
but whatever, if you "didn't meant to say looks" then that's fine.
My bad, as you can see I'm a little off today by saying "commentating." I thought that makes sense. :lol1:
And yeah, I really did mean to say "he is mentally challenged."

If you're referring to the picture of Taylor in my profile then you're way off, i put that in there cause it's the first pic I ever photoshopped and thought it would be interesting enough for the profile. I really don't care about the AA/taylor fight.
I reference your avatar cause it contains a bald ugly midget, and you posted about someones looks.
Someones looks? I honestly meant to say "he is mentally challenged" and not he looks, my mistake.
And who cares how they look anyways, you're the one who cares how they look because you're commentating my avatar. I haven't checked how Abraham looks, if he's a midget, bald, or any of that.

Yeah, just found your post to be bemusingly idiotic.
You're telling me Ike wasn't mentally challenged?
And obviously you find my avatar funny as well, but I know why.
Dude looks like he was mentally challenged, so it's kind of obvious you wouldn't have fears.
Why start a thread then derail it yourself you retard?
And it's rather funny you mentioning looks considering your avatar.
Tua is not in better shape now than he was then. His stamina is not what it was. Not even close to what it was then. He's also much slower now and doesn't even throw half the amount of punches he threw back then. An opponent like Shane Cameron proves nothing. I was actually referring to Ibeabuchi of that time beating any of the current contenders today. Tua is finished as a top heavyweight. His careful selection of opponents is proof of that.
Well, Tua had a long break and of course when he comes back, he will not fight a big name so he had to start from somewhere. I think he's trying his best to climb up the ladder one more time. Time will tell.
his whole paragraph had me confused. Especially the Klitchko reference. I was like "WTF is this dude talking about". It's like a rambling bum on the street making exactly zero sense but it's funny because it's not you talking.
STFU clown. I think the TS is a Klit fan and my point was that if they had stopped boxing early on then he would probably try to argue how great they wouldve been just like people do Ike. My point with that and the eye test is that some guys you can watch from early on and know they are going to be great. You could see that from RJ, Floyd, and so on. In other sports you could see it from Lebron. I didnt have to watch Lebron's whole career to tell you he would be great. If he had a major injury after his 2nd season, there would be a ton of people right now saying that Lebron would be dominating the league, leading his team to the #1 seed, averaging 30 and near a triple double if he would still be playing
Huh?
~~~~~~
Youve never heard of the eye test before? When there are arguments like this, some people will say that we will never know what someone couldve done but what did you see with your own eyes? Most people's saw someone crazy talented and they think he wouldve been great. Youve never heard people talk about passing the eye test? Like if Roy Jones went to prison early on, you could also say that you dont know how he wouldve turned out but if you saw him then you know that he had crazy talent that wouldve been hell for anyone to fukk with had he continued
Doesn't Tua have the same power still? Look at his fight with Shane Cameron, just two fights ago. Tua completely humiliated Shane Cameron. Also, right now Tua seems to be hungry because he's come to fights in much better shape. Now he's a much more experienced fighter. And you're right, Tua would beat any of the heavyweight contenders right now. Including the WBA Champ, David Haye.
The point is that people like Lennox Lewis unloading flush on Tua relentlessly couldn't even get him to blink, and he was universally feared for carrying truly nightmarish power, yet Ibeabuchi stodd right in front of him for a 12 rounds and gave back just as much as Tua could ship out.
That alone speaks volumes. It doesn't make Ibeabuchi any ATG by any means but he had the stamina, chin, durability and offensive aresenal to do it. Also says a lot about his heart and determination, the man obviously felt no fear whatsoever.
Dude looks like he was mentally challenged, so it's kind of obvious you wouldn't have fears.
ATG? No ****ing way. Why? His brain. His head. Ike's mental problems followed him around and that's why he's in the can, joasting away his life.
Now, yeah, he had a great chin, great power, he was a good durable heavyweight but just because he stood in front of a prime tua doesn't mean I'm about to compare him to george foreman, who would absolutely wipe the floor with any version of ike.
The specimen has to be complete to be a champion. That means no mental midget, Ike is a mental midget otherwise the downfall would have never happened.
