Don't know but at the time Toney was the MW champ. And Hops showed up for one of his press conferences asking for a fight. Toney literally leaped over the table where the promoters, fighters, etc. sat and chased him out of the building. rofl.......cant believe that coward bernard even has fans..... :spank::rofl:

Well it is? How many people have died in MMA? I'm sorry but, boxing is not good for your health, at all! A fast ko is better, then 12 rounds of beating, I'll promise you that. Even with your guard up, you'll get hurt in the long run! I hear you man these cats dont even know OH no I suffered 10 tap out losses in my MMA career due to armbars! Ill never be the same hahahha Please MMA is dangreous because its a physical sport but to say its more dangerous than boxing is just wrong In boxing you are contantly hitting each other in the head and MMA has take downs and chest rubbing and leg massaging

A Hopkins Toney fight is more meaningful now, then a Hopkins Jones fight imo. It's something that would be interesting. Toney is pretty past it now though, what weight would it be at as well ?

toney hate on Hopkins. said he flossed with barb wire. Toney is a boxing genius but his prediciton are prone to personal bias. ie saying he could beat either Klitschko. he should be arrested for defamation for saying something so absurd. Yet they won't fight him under any circumstances...they fight less skilled even more out of shape guys and are praised as though they are cleaning out a stacked atg divison.

any idea on what started the bad blood? I know James is adamant about being the only true "old school" throwback fighter I remember being so excited about the idea of this fight happening, when they were both on the cover of Ring Magazine Don't know but at the time Toney was the MW champ. And Hops showed up for one of his press conferences asking for a fight. Toney literally leaped over the table where the promoters, fighters, etc. sat and chased him out of the building.
