I was thinking a Young Floyd Patterson before he went to HW would be great in this tournament.
I was trying to focus on fighters that fought in the Black/White TV era instead of just shooting out "Roy Jones jr."
check out some of Floyd at 3:16
Jones Jr. in his prime would have schooled Kessler, Green, Froch, and Abraham easily.
He would have a little trouble with Dirrell, but eventually knock him the hell out.
Ward is a tricky one. He's got skills, a good jab and he's solid around, but I still see Roy getting a close decision.
Not quite historic, but I think prime supermiddle Chris Eubank might have done very well in this competition.
He'd outspeed and outbox Abraham and Froch and out-tough and outlast Kessler and Dirrell. Ward might be a problem, but we haven't seen enough of him......the Kessler fight may have complimented him too much!
