Come man, I gotta stick up for the earlier generations... There is about 5 universally recognized world title belts per division in todays time opposed to there being only one world championship during mid century; 90% of these awards didn't exist in the times of Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Henry Armstrong, and Joe Louis... All of these "super" and "jr" weight classes didn't even exist back then either... Pacquiao is great but I do hope people do realize these things and don't put such a thing on too high of a pedestal when discussion their opinions on ranking of ATG's
I'm a Pac fan, but I gotta agree. Pacquiao will never be the GOAT or any fighter of this era for that matter, but of recent times, he can be argued he is.
GOAT has to be judged retrospectively, its too difficult not to be bias when calling a fighter who is currently fighting GOAT, manny has got some fights left in him, what he does in his next fights will show where he'll rank on the ATG list, I don't think he'll achieve GOAT, fighters don't fight enough anymore for them to achieve that title IMO, although if he did something insane and captured a heavyweight title or something you could make an argument (calm down pactards and flomos, I'm not saying Manny could beat Vitali so don't even start arguing against or supporting that statement) but what i'm saying is to be GOAT from the modern era of boxing, you'd have to do something insane.

a picture tells more than 1000 words, this and the one in your sig tells a lot about u.
respond to me after finishing your delayed puberty ok ?
if pacquiao was around in the 40s, he would know what real boxing is after SRR demolished him.
then he wouldnt act like a diva like he is today.

dumbass, everything changes. learn to embrace it.
And no, hot tub time machines dont exist. U fools are too entagled in the past, the previous great boxing era. WELCOME TO TODAY. cry me a river pac wasnt born in the '40s.

what happened to u ?
i remember the times where u didnt sound like this.
maybe u should start to ride pacquiaos dick again, or do u wanna stay red for ever?, haha :D
It's flomos like you who actuall fails at logic. Period.
IDIOT!
It's you who has given me red K for no reason at all and i did not even bother giving one back to you, so now i'm giving you one for being STUPID!
:spank:
Thread Starter, this is a prime example of what I was talking about... Pactards have no logic... Red K me all you want dude im not losing any sleep over it, i dont get why you pacfags are obsessed with this green and red k shit its pointless.
Dude, these pactards cannot reason with logic, they dont understand that its easier to win belts when there are more of them...
It's flomos like you who actuall fails at logic. Period.
Yeah, well I feel you on that bro, because im in the same boat... Most people I ever talk to in person or even on here tell me I know my shit about boxing and blah blah blah shit like that you know? But according to people on NSB (mainly pactards) since I have red k i apparently dont know shit about boxing, when its because im being red k'd by pactards left and right because they disagree with facts and opinions I state, and have really stupid reasons for it too... Like seriously, do they really think that karma on a boxing forum is going to prove who knows the most about boxing and who makes intelligent posts? Not at all, because pactards outnumber real fans, give each other all the green k for every post they make, suck each others dicks more, and give red k to the people who actually know what theyre talking about.... People like PAKYO and pasawakyo and others, or there is rskumm21 who gives people red k left and right for arguements and opinions that differ from his, or people who prove that his facts are false, even when he's clearly mistaken and proven wrong time and time again, he'll give red k to people but he has his rep disabled.. SMH... the ignorance of boxingscene.com... I dont even know why I still post here, probably because it's entertaining to see how dumb people can be when it comes to common sense lmao

You know what's funny... I got red k'd by Pacquiao fans for making this thread smh lol... actually my bar is red strictly because of of Pacquiao fans, and i'm never talking shit either I just state facts and i'm red k'd left and right... (Illipino red k'd me for this thread and his reason was "Pacquiao is the GOAT")

sh1t's hilarious
...a fckin decade ago
floyd mayweather losses to arthur abraham does that mean aa is better?
hell no.
same with penn and st. pierre.
I agree with you, however if Floyd decide to fight Arthur Abraham, lost and claim that AA was too big, I would not defend him. You decide to move up or you stay at your weight.
yes.
it was like the mma version of tito losing to hopkins.
tito is the greater fighter but stupid people think hopkins is because he won.
I kind of agree with you, Hopkins was physically too strong for Trinidad, however Tito chose to fight at 160 lbs, and is two next fight was at that weight. He's an adult and he took the risk to fight at Middleweight, if you think you're not ready for the weight just stay at the lower one. Same thing with bj, don't move up in weight and cry the other guy was to big.
And Hopkins put on a masterpiece that night, that was beautiful to watch. But I respect the fact you mad !!
