Ali Vs Sonny Liston II 1st Round KO

One thing people forget is that WE DID NOT EVEN GET TO SEE THE PRIME OF MUHAMMAD ALI. HE WAS ROBBED 3 YEARS OF HIS PRIME BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. SO HE IS MORE GREATER THAN WE THINK HE IS!
Sure, he got fatter and fatter. Before boxing break: median weight 199. After boxing break: median weight 220. Watch his fights.
Tyson before break: 217, after: 223. Hardly a difference.
Okay?
What was prime Ali then?
You can't be serious that Ali's greatest wins are BEFORE his boxing break.
I think that skills wise, Ali was pretty much the same before and after the break. However, he didn't seem to be using his legs as much, probably due to ring rust, and his speed and reflexes weren't quite as fast. It's not a large difference, but I think it was a slight decline. Also, I agree that Ali's greatest wins were after the lay-off, but I wouldn't say best wins and prime go hand in hand. Look at guys like Hopkins who didn't start getting his 'big' wins until his 30's.
From your sig though, I take it you're not much of an Ali fan?
Ali was not past it when he cam back he beat every who who in the division including beating Foreman after that Frazier loss.
I wouldn't say he was past it as such, he was still a very good fighter. However, it was clear to see a difference between the Ali pre and post lay off if I remember correctly. I haven't watched the fights for a while, but if memory serves me correctly - after the lay off, Ali wasn't as mobile, and his speed and reflexes diminished somewhat (although, not much).
Joe Frazier did.
That wasn't Prime Ali man... everyone knows he was different after that time away from boxing. However, I do agree that Sugar Ray Robinson is the Greatest P4P, Ali is easily the Greatest Heavyweight of all time in my eyes.
The best Muhammad Ali tribute ever. How coincidental that I made this video :D. I share it with you guys so that you can give it '5 stars', 'favorite' it and that you guys subscribe to me so that I can get a partnership contract with YouTube. Once I have a partnership Ima become rich and with my new money I will go see Amir fight on may 15th in New York :D.

"Hands, like Sonny Liston, get fly permission
Hold the **** up, I'll unfasten your wig, bad luck
I humiliate, separate the English from the Dutch

Came in threes we like the Genovese, is that so?
