Thanks for posting the video. I know that B-Hop and Roy aren't exactly top tier contenders now and this fight should have happened at least 5 years ago, but I'm still excited for it. I don't have the money to order it (going to Vegas and was hoping to see this fight live, but they changed the date... yes, mad), but I'm thinking of hitting a bar or something to see it.
By the way, did anyone else notice that Roy skips rope funny? He holds the handles pretty far out in front of his body.
roy gotta pull this off..he has to fight a very smart fight..WAR ROY..
im in the uk and am a MASSIVE ROY fan..they not showing the fight here..am hoping one of you guys will have a good stream for me
Thats cool how he can look like that at 41. Physically, he looks better than Hopkins did at 41, Hopkins was looking aged in the Tarver fight. I hope I can move like Roy and still be athletic when I am 41.
roy's going to have to move more in this fight---he can't let b hop figure out his movement, coz hopkins will rush that right hand lead and roy can'r just depend on his faster hands to just stand and counter---he has great speed without being on his toes, but roy's downfall was his lack of consistent movement once his style was figured out and timed----he has to move more--work more on his cardio---his handspeed is still sharp, but his timing isn't anymore, and roy still has power, great speed and power, but hopkins is so masterful at taking speed away from fighters, and making them change their minds before they think they have him cornered, coz he knows how to close the distance to where he wants to be---roy knows this isn't 1993, and hopkins improved so much, and he has to be prepared for a guy who still has a lot of fight left in his tank and can knock roy out if roy gets caught clean---roy has to work that chicken head movement with his feet and time hopkin's timing, coz b hop will clinch and fight a little rough to upset roy, who has complained in the past, and got frustrated---roy hates to get hit and look bad coz of his arrogance---well, he has tasted defeat and has been shattered in the past---it's time for him to realize he's human and make the adjustments to be reborn again a good fighter, with something left in his tank---if he loses this fight, he should hang it up---but in boixng, it's hard, especially after a loss to hang it up---i have b hop for now winning this fight, because he's so much smarter now----but you never know with roy----
What Bernard is gonna do to him will not be pretty.
I thought Bernard might not be able to knock him out because he was gonna have a problem being the aggressor, but after watching the Hopkins-Tarver replay it won't be a problem.
The only way RJ is gonna have a chance is to keep it in the middle of the ring, something that we all know he can't sustain. His legs will force him to lay on the ropes if Hopkins wants it there.
Hopkins' power at 175 is underrated, so I definitely see him hurting Roy and I see Jones being on jello legs for most of the fight. He's gonna get beat up and taken out.
Roy looks much sharper than last week. He might not be as fast as at his peak, but all he has to do is be faster than Hopkins on April 3rd and beat him to the punch all night. And keep that left hand up.
Thanks...Jones looks good and I feel good picking him. Im a huge Jones fan and im hoping that he can pull this out. Even if he can't he was supposed to lose anyway but I feel he is gonna win this thing and can't wait.
