after his fight with magicman, if ever he wins, i am guessing that around two more matches against top caliber fighters would increase his chance of joining the elite ranks. as of now, there isnt much on khan`s resume to really elevate him significantly.
i agree, i havent seen his cayo fight yet, but i watched the gonzalez (sp?) one yesterday and he looked like shit.
And his chin isnt great either, Khan might get caught with a hail mary punch and get ktfo, but 8-9 times out of 10 he takes him to school, and probably KOs him in the process.
Cayo defensively was so poor, that it seemed like he wanted to get KO'd by maidana and his wish came true. Now everyone thinks he will beat the top fighters in the division.
Bradley and Khan would put on a boxing clinic if they fought Maidana and i wouldn't put it past Devon Alexander to KO him.
Maidana is severely overrated. I cant wait for Amir to box his ears off and teach him a lesson.

I think thats what GBP seem to be doing, They want to build Maidana up till when he fights Khan and if he KO khan in the next 2 or 3 fights he would be have been on a roll and he would be a big star.
Kahn's next 2 fights after Paulie, should he win, will be against weak opposition. GBP aren't keeping him away from Maidana and Bradley to put him in with dangerous competition in the meanwhile
Khan will fight the softest touches out there while Maidana will chop his way through ranks of undefeated, hungry challengers and more experienced champs.
