I was a fan of Hopkins before he took this fight. Not anymore though. There are two things he needs to do before I be his fan again. 1. Knock Roy Jones out in devastating fashion like you say he's gonna do. 2. Fight Chad Dawson.
Go watch Cotto run away from midgets and one dimensional mexicans.
Nah it's getting late and I'm having a hard time falling asleep. By any chance do you know where I could find Hopkins vs Winky I'll be out by the second or third round.
I give Jones a good shot. He already has it in the back of his mind that he already beat Hopkins and that can play big. "I already beat this guy, I can't lose"
Execution my ass he's just going to get hugged, headbutted and potshotted for 12th round. As usual it's going to be a great cure for anyone who has severe insomnia.
I ain't paying for this shit I'll watch it in a bar if I don't have shit to do on saturday that is if they even show it.

I didn't say Roy would win, I just think he'll probably give a better performance than what people are expecting of him. I agree with you 100% that this fight should add nothing to Hopkin's legacy, nor take away anything from Roy's. This fight should have taken place 8-10 years ago when BOTH of them were at their best. However, with that being said, I'll still tune in Saturday and hope that Roy has a similar moment to when George Foreman knocked out Michael Moorer. That would be sweet.
i suggest you look at jones' recent training video...dude couldn't even consistently hit the speed bag for 10 full minutes...couldn't even skip rope for 5...
I wouldn't write Jones off completely. I think he's still got the speed to give Hopkins problems. He looked fairly sharp against Green before the KO...it's just a question of whether or not that was a lucky punch that hit him the right spot or it's a sign that his ability to take a punch has even further deteriorated. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to build him up as though he's prime Jones. He's shot but even a shot Jones is still a good fighter and he still has speed as I mentioned, just not legs (and some loss of reflexes) but Hopkins isn't a pressure fighter where he really needs them as much.
Hopkins on the other hand is now 45 years old and isn't getting any quicker himself. He's going to look to do pummel Jones on the inside but that speed may make it a little difficult. However, Hopkins would probably kill himself if he lost this fight so he's probably going to take risks and I think he'll eventually get to him but I don't really think the fight is going to be one-sided, at least the first half or so.
Bro Roy Jones hasn't beaten a good fighter in his prime since 2003. Thats 7 years. He is not going to win this fight and Hopkins deserves -100% credit for taking this fight and winning.

Man y'all can't write off Roy to quickly in this fight. As corny as it sounds every great fighter does have that one great fight left in him and there's no doubt that in his prime Roy was one of the best. If Roy is going to have his last great fight, this is his oppurtunity and who better to have it against than your rival for almost two decades. I wouldn't be surprised if this actually turned out to be a decent fight. Probably turn out better than the 60 bucks I wasted watching Pacquiao hit a human punching bag for 12 rounds.

The day of fraudery. May 5 is cinco de mayo and April 3rd should be remembered as pussywet Hopkins shameful attempt to have a win so he can claim to being greater than Roy Jones.
