Whats with the Lucian Bute hype? I dont get it at all.

I know he is technically considered smaller than Dawson and doesn't have as good of a resume. But he's basically a mirror image of Dawson with a harder punch. I don't get why you slate him like you do. I dont hate the guy. I just dont rate him as high as everyone else does. He hasnt impressed me. Bika, Zuniga, Andrade. Now Mirada? Naw the Super 6 boxers and putting in work. Granted him not being in the tourney hurst him but Hops should be looking at Chad.

I don't understand, so after a fighter loses to someone, they next guy that beats him is nothing? Doesn't make sense at all. I don't think that's how boxing works, a guy gets beaten once then he's no good. Honestly, Bute should've replaced Tayler because Bute would destroy Green for sure and give problems anyone else. Do you think Bute had an easier time with Bika than Calzaghe did? Because I do. He was way more dominant against Bika than Calzaghe was IMO. Yeah true. I think Calzaghe won every round it was just a style clash that made it such an ugly fight.

Lol, don't you HATE Arthur Abraham? Anyways, Bute beats most of the guys in the Super Six. Dude is fast, great power, slick, and a southpaw. A big problem for anyone. I don't see how people see Bute as the best SMW. Ward is the best SMW. Kessler was ranked number one when Ward schooled him badly. That is not how rankings go, that is how lineal championship goes. To be the lineal champ you have to bea the lineal champ. Lo beat the man you have to beat the man. However, rankings are different. Is what have you done for me lately and also body of work. Both Bute and Ward are coming off impressive great wins. However, Bute has better overall body of work than Ward. Bute has a better resume. Bute deserves to be ranked ahead of Ward. I don't see how anybody could Ward ahead of Bute. Again rankings is different from lineal claims. In rankings just cuz you beat the #1 rank guy does not make you rank #1. That only works for lineal claims.

To be the best,you have to beat the best.I think he has shown top potential, but how will he handle Dirrell, Abraham, Ward, etc? He is unfortunately stuck beating the likes of Andrade, Bika, and now-the very ordinary stepping stone in Edison Miranda. I believe Bute is highly skilled,but he will not have a chance to prove it for at least another year and a half.I really wish he replaced the bland and ordinary Allan Green in the Super 6,who has accomplished less than Bute...

bute's good, i'd probably rank him ahead of froch, kessler and green. i'd just like to see him against a different type of fighter. it seems like he's fighting the same guy every time out. is it even possible for him to move up or down? either way, he needs to find a different challenge. i'd like to see how his boxing skills hold up vs another boxer instead of just another puncher.

Im a fan of who Im a fan of. I do like Dawson hes grown on me. Its easy to just pick the best fighters in the world and be a fan of them. I'll pass on Bute. Im saying I like who I like and it isnt race based at all. Well of course is not race at all, if it was you would be big on Bradley and Dawson.
