Yeah, the first fight of his I saw was against McDonnell, and DK has turned me on since. Felt bad, I thought the most you could give McDonnell was 5 rounds, and that was being a bit generous.
I honestly think that if he were at 105-112, he'd be a belt holder. Shame, he's pretty much a journeyman at 118.
I guess Gooners like Napa, eh?
I saw for the first time on SKY some years ago, I think it was against Booth not too sure though but i was impress with Napa's skills and movement, According to Sky commentators Ian napa wasnt too serious and from what i saw since he could have challenge people like Ivan Calderon but he kept getting robbed, Even in his last fight he was robbed even though he was the champ, Am not sure if Arsenal fans like him though, Not sure if Napa supports the Gunners, Maybe he's a spurs fan lol..

I know against McDonnell Adam Smith mentioned that he likes Arsenal. But I do remember them saying early in his career Napa wasn't all that serious and was in a "dark place".
But I mentioned the Arsenal thing because Dynamite Kid is a big Arsenal fan and you have Fabregas as your avatar.
Mostly a lame joke. :lol1:

Nah was not aware any of his fights since had been televised, i take it, it was not on Skysports?
For sure.
If McDonnell has any pride he will take a rematch.
It was on L'Equipe TV, in France. You know where to find it....
Yeah, I forgot about him, Ian Napa thinks he's Mayweather with the shoulder roll and stuff, But the guy has some decent skills though, Shame he gets rob and shame he never took boxing serious enough to make big noise at the world stage..

I think Anselmo Moreno deserves a shout.
And this guy is my personal favorite.

Have you seen McDonnell's last fight in France? I've downloaded, but not watched it yet.
I made a thread say he needs to face Napa again....it got no replies. :lol1:
Seriously though, he got that belt due to a shit decision against Napa. If he wants to prove he's the best, he needs to man up.

wlad is pretty slick too but the racist blacks on this site would never admit it.
Wlad isn't slick, he's a good defensive fighter but he's not slick.
He doesn't need to be, when have you ever seen Wlad bob and weave from a punch? His height makes it so he doesn't need to do that.
vitali's slicker than wlad.
its not about being slick though, they're hard to hit becuz of their height and reach.
that'd be like calling tommy hearns slick.
Ha took the word right out of my mouth lol or keyboard rather.

Hmmmmm I would say Vitali gets slick results but more uses his length and reach to remain elusive rather that his reflexes but wlad... I don't know I just didn't see it in his big fights
I would characterize Joan more as scrappy than slick but Bute seems pretty slick, and maybe Chris John... sort of Have to think for others not already said.
Yeah Bute is a good shout, he moves very smoothly.
So far i see Molitor, Bute, Guzman as the best shouts.
I only know these few ones:
Sergio Martinez
Joan Guzman
Eric Morel
Ivan Calderon
I wonder if there are other ones..
