Do you think Dirrell Has a Shot at Winning the Super Six?

He has to fight Ward but if he manages to win a UD or a D(1 point) who knows? Froch will be fighting Abraham after the Kessler fight. Abraham should knock him out, if Kessler beats him, Froch will be out. If Froch beats Kessler, Kess will be out.. There are a lot of scenarios but I don't see Dirrell winning the tournament. I still go with Abraham.

don't be too enthralled by direll's win. I believed he would win yesterday just bc abraham was going to start slow and direll would get enough of an advantage to coast at the end. Abraham may have been a better fighter, but his style just doesn't match up well with direll. Ward is better than direll bc of his inside game and his toughness along with his power. Ward is the favorite to me, dont cont abraham out he may still ko green if they fight bc green will stay in front of him and has questionable heart. I think the european traditional styles will hurt them against ward and dirrell throughout.

dirrell definitely has the skills and talent to do it, but does he have the heart? the heart of a champion to dig waayyyy down deep in them last few rounds... i personally think if that fight went the distance last night, he would have gotten caught... he was visibly tiring and was wobbled a few times bye abe... good thing for dirrell that fight ended imo.

i think Ward and Dirrell are the two favorites to win. Sucks they have to fight next round. I'd like to see them in the finals. But ya gotta think if Ward beats him That he has a good chance of not advancing to the semi finals.

Still anyone's game. I think Green looks dangerous for Ward...certainly looked to have the size advantage but I dont have the stats.

when will ward meet dirrell anyway? It's scheduled in the third round.My guess is the fight will be fourth quarter this year.

He definitely is a talented boxer and has a good chance. The only thing I worry about is his defense. There are too many moments when he gravitates to the ropes and bounces away with his chin up in the air.

i think dirrell has a real shot at winning.when the super six started,i thought the 3 european fighters would dominate,and look what has happened so far!with their RECENT performances,i think ward and dirrell have the biggest shot.i think ward takes dirrell though.he looks like the most complete fighter so far.when will ward meet dirrell anyway?

Why not? He just beat the favorite in the tournament. They showed the odds and Ward was the favorite at 1:1 to win and AA was 8:5, but i thought AA was gonna take it. Yesterday just showed how different American and Europeon fighters are

I think he looked pretty damn good last night. Whether you think he faked being knocked out cold or not, you gotta admit, if the fight went to the decision he would of won a lopsided decision. Personally, I think he gets eliminated after Group Stage 3. If he beats Ward though, I think he'll have a decent shot. Do you guys think he has a shot at winning the tournament? I think he looked the best he will look the whole tournament last night. I think he could get caught by Ward. I think he can def. lose to any one of the other 3(Ward, Kessler and even Green). Abraham was the perfect opponent for Dirrell to pop in and out against and avoid playing too much defense. Abraham was all power but had little else. Everyone else in the tourney besides Froch is a much more balanced combination. Ward is the best obviously, but Kessler and Green even throw more than Abraham and are quicker. I don't know where he goes from here. He could possibly beat everyone. But i think he will likely lose to at least one of them, possibly by KO. I'm still not convinced of his chin, especially now that he's fighting men who are alot quicker than the first 2 fighters he faced. Not enough speed in the first two contests to find his chin and test it often. Ward will test the chin and so could Kessler or Green.

Ward Vs, Dirrell would be a great fight.....both slick, very fast fighters with very similar styles would make for a great strategic fight, definitly one to watch
