A rematch between him and a Maidana must happen. :boxing: As long as ortiz moves with a stiff jab and keeps his hands up he will fade maidana while hes swinging in the air and maidana will get hit with many combos and get dropped in alot of rounds...maidana didnt want to test ortiz's power and start slow because he knows ortiz can hit...he wanted the fight done asap because he knows ortiz would whoop that ass had the fight gone on longer...

Ortiz needs to fight Maidana ASAP and win big. Otherwise people will always bring up that loss and make him look like crap.

Ortiz quit like a bitch and said that he doesn't deserve to be punched like that. That is a chicken. Malignaggi might not be a hard puncher, but one thing you can't say is that he is a chicken. His jaw was injured and he continued to fight Cotto instead of bitching out like Ortiz. When Khan was knocked down by Prescott the 2nd time he was still desperately trying to get up and fight. That is heart. Ortiz is very talented but he needs to show the fans that he is willing to take punishment, otherwise he is in the wrong profession. Ortiz's brother should be the last one to be calling other boxers chicken.

Taylor beat Pavlik in the amateurs and we saw what pavlik did to him... ortiz could've and should've beat maidana but he got careless... don't get it twisted he can beat khan

Ortiz needs a better corner...he did seem like he was kinda slow against a.diaz but that's probably because he doesn't wanna damage his broken hand...he was kinda rusty but he will pick up the pace...and I think that since he has proven to be able to last 10 full rounds he will stop trying to carry his opponents and he will KO Campbell in less than 3 or 4 rounds...each of Ortiz' hits will be equivilant to bradley's headbutt power when nate gets hit...he's going to come out guns blazing and be feared when he beats him in a better fashion than bradley did...he's got accurate punching power which is why he should be feared...people are writing him off too soon...

Ortiz is a good fighter, i think he's got serious potential and ill be damned if he doesnt become a world champion. But, if he and Khan both fought now, i feel Khan would pull a stick and move groove all over the ring. Ortiz HAS to build up his attributes, because in terms of skill Khan is superior right now. You dont have people like Freddy Roach and Alex Ariza at your corner for nothing. :boxing:
