I try to chill and really I don't hate Haye as much as it seems, but it's hard to bite my tongue. Growing up playing sports there are always those guys you play with or against who think they are better than they are, who have people telling them they are better than they are, who think they are entitled to half assing or skipping practices. Guys who are more concerned about themselves than the big picture. I am sure you know the type. To me Haye is that guy, and it pisses me off. It doubly pisses me off because I am a huge Heavyweight fan. As bad as the division is Haye has only made it worse. Haye came into the division promising excitement and promising "only the biggest fights" He has done none of that and as a result he has hurt himself, he has hurt the Klitschkos, he has hurt the division and he has hurt the sport in general by hamstringing it's most popular division with his bullshit. If he had stayed at Cruiser and won 20 straight fights I wouldn't be wasting time trying to make him look bad. Problem is he didn't. He moved up to Heavyweight and made a bunch of promises he wasn't willing to keep. He also created a huge public demand for 2 fights that he isn't willing to follow through on. Guys like Haye make the entire sport look bad, his actions are embarrassing to me as a boxing fan and the fact that he is ruining my favorite division is more than enough reason to call him out on the many contradictions he has made over the past few years.

On this I will back him. I haven't posted in any thread on Haye since the Klit fight has not been made. I''m disapointed in him. Nothing more can be said. I look at it like a I would the attitude of a bank robber. If he robs a bank and gets away with it, he's gonna do it again. Likewise Haye saw how easily he got away with lying about an injury so there was nothing discouraging him from doing the same thing again the next time the opportunity presented itself. And even if Haye's hand were damaged it was no excuse for only throwing 144 punches in an entire fight. Hell Audley Harrison probably quadrupled Haye's output in his fight against Sprott and he did it with his shoulder completely dislocated. So you see, Harrison, a guy everyone considers a coward actually fought with 10 times the determination of Haye with only a single arm in a fight he was losing. Haye on the other hand, with only a mildly damaged hand ran for 12 rounds straight against an opponent who hadnt scored a knockout in like 5 years.

With respect Hitman, because I respect you as a poster, I don;t have the X ray. However I also don't have any ways to get Xrays to Paulie'c jaw, AA's jaw, Maywetaher's hands etc... I have had tendons swell my wrist up also, however I don't punch hard as Haye. I certainly haven;'t punched Valuev head. How can you or I say he is lying though? Yes he fought badly, but most of his fights are not boring, and certinaly not that defensive. Like I said before. The reason I believe he exaggerated the injury (not gonna call it an outright lie cause I am sure it was sore) and used it as an excuse is because he had lied about an injury not even a year before to excuse himself from a fight and got away with it. Haye has already seen that fans like yourself will remain true to him in spite of him lying and backing out of fights. So what incentive does he have not to do it again knowing that fans like yourself will take him at his word and defend him against people that know he is full of sh*t? Haye has lied in the past, faked injuries in the past, avoided Adamek at Cruiser and has avoided a real Heavyweight test for 2 years now. I respect you as a poster as well, but I am just calling it like I see it. Haye does not want to work hard to achieve anything nor does he feel inclined to test himself when there are already so many Brits willing to bend over and kiss his feet based on him doing a whole bunch of nothing.

I've had mild sprains of my ankle that caused it to swell to 3 or 4 times the size of the other, Haye's hand being a little swollen is pretty common for boxers. Wlad Klitschko injured himself to the point where he had to have surgery after his last fight, yet for some reason he didn't spend the whole fight running like a bitch, nor did he use the injury as any kind of excuse afterward. Klitschko - Surgery, no excuses, dominant performances Haye- No surgery, plenty of excuses, ran like a bitch for 12 rounds
