With all the controversy over the late punch I think that something is being missed: It's time to stop printing those stupid fucking advertisements on the ring canvases. They put the fighters at risk of injury because they make for a slippy surface when water is splashed on them. Regular canvas means no slipping and no slip would mean no illegal punch and no DQ. i agree there's no reason they can't be imposed on the screen the way in NFL they have the "1st &10" and the logos and what not.... its time to catch up with technology and the times
