So the weight did make a differnece? it wasent just that he moved and avoided?yes it did according to max kellerman. i started watching after the fight was over. while guzman was celebrating max was talking about the weight was a huge advantage and he didnt like it.

The weight made a huge difference. He was able to take shots which stunned him in the first fight and he wasn't as drained as Funeka because he didn't have to go through the intense dehydration and rehydration which Funeka did. Think about how much harder it is for Funeka to make lightweight, he's 6'1!!! Guzman won this fight for sure, but the victory is tainted.
of course it did he weighed in 2 divisions higher then his opponent and it showed in his ability to take a punch and his power in the fight. all those who disagree with this can be spotted out by their username and or avatars as having a national bias which doesnt allow them to judge fairly
Couldn't have said it better myself

no it was that he moved and avoideed.. trust me i saw the fight.. and so did a couple more ppl aside me.. guzman has that tough mentality and came in confident and he took the punches. he always said he wasnt impressed by funekas power. lennox lewis states that in the fight. funeka missed with the jab thats why he lost.
Decision was legit, but the extra weight gave Guzman a huge advantage over Funeka. He was shaking off similar shots to ones that stunned him in their first fight. Just based on who had the better fight though, regardless of weight, Guzman did undeniably.

For those who caught that fight, how was it, was the decision legit or questionable?
i didnt bother watching that joke of a fight after guzman cheated by coming in grossly overweight. apparently the decision was legit.
