Thanks for the correction got too ecited that Morales broke records didn't read it properly.
at the least with the international title Erik is back to challenge for the for the world title ...
Montiel: Flyweight, super flyweight and bantamweight
Soto: Featherweight, super featherweight and lightweight
thanks bro!
although I think both soto & montiel have more mileage left in them, I think its harder for them to win their 4th as they seemed to be to small for the next division up, not to mention the monsters occupying those division...
Morales: super bantam weight(1st), feather weight(2nd), super feather weight(3rd).
Morales - Jose Alfaro for the vacant wbc WW belt (4th)

Correct me bro are Soto & montiel has 2 division champ? that still long way to go ...
I agree Erik should at least go down to 140 ...
Check Boxrec, they have 3
Morales showed a little small vintage him! He's nowhere near what he used to be obviously but showed his savy boxing skills and showed decent reflexes. He would get beat up by any elite fighter but still it was great seeing him in action again, which at first i was totally against! If he is gonna continue fighting he needs to to cut weight. at least make 140 because he was lookin a little pudgy haha...
maybe he can get in better shape in the next few fights and make a run at 140 I bet he'd beat David Diaz if he got his but in shape.
I think there are several that have a good chance of win a 4th. Soto, JMM, montiel.
Morales looked good. Good boxing skills, but slow. I dont think he has a chance against soto or marquez, those guys are at there prime. Unless morales drops some pounds and trains hard for the next year, he might have a chance. I think he can still give fights against b class fighters if he trains hard enough. Morales looked just great compared to what most of us were especting.

no bro the Mexican record is still 3, I think Marquez has the best chance to win a 4th if he fights at 140...

morales is done. he shouldnt be fighting anymore.
Did he become the first mexican boxer to win 4 division titles? I know marquez, morales, & barerra are in a pitiful race to try & one up chavez sr.

JMM vs Morales next to prove who is the greatest Mexican fighter of their generation.
I would like to see that ...
None of them right now, but if he keeps working hard, he could probably rematch diaz. i think marquez and soto are just too much for him right now. It was great to watch his style, as always a counterpuncher but a lot more slow.
rematch David Diaz? I think he won a close one on thier first fight, but in case they do rematch and wins do you think he can fight anyone I mentioned earlier ...
At WW 147lbs IMO Morales may have a bit of the advantage. JMM failed at 147 and Soto might be too slow at WW, he and Morales more or les have same height and reach but Morales has the better chin.
147 fight sounds good but would they (EM & JMM) be at their best around 140?

anyone got a video link?
and who do you think he can fight in say 2 fights, that he has a chance to win ...
Marquez? Sotto?? Juan Diaz??? Hatton????
