Even if Dirrell would have gotten up right after that punch, Abraham would had been disqualified. Abraham, his style and his frustration lost him this fight. Get over it you cry babies.
I think the frustration with having to deal with Dirrel's running (which we all knew he would do once Dirrel got his chin tapped), Lawrence Cole's extremely biased reffing job, and the cut is what caused Abe to go off the deep end. However, I think the DQ was warranted and I hope Dirrel is okay. But I question how much of that shit was a con job. The punch didn't look all that hard to me. And my opinion of Abraham actually went way down too after this fight. I think Ward, Froch, and Kessler all beat him.
I'm going to be honest and say I didn't watch the Soto fight. But I was disappointed in RJJ because he clearly was better than than Griff. There is no place for that behavior in boxing. Leave that shit to MMA.
OK, so you agreed with Roy getting DQ'd?
And, did you watch Barrera-JMM or Pac-JMM the first time?
Why shouldn't I be mad at the one that mad a clear concious decision to cheat. He was clearly down, be it knockdown or slip. You can not hit him after that with knees and gloves on the canvas. AA was frustrated and reacted like a little child. The ref should've been in better position to prevent that. But AA clearly committed the foul on purpose.
Where you this Angry for Roy or Soto be honest? No bullshit your word as a man?
Bro i didnt even see the Maidana fight I was too busy AT the AA fight..lol. I dont know what happened.
Is cool, I mean I just like consistency. Some of this fools felt it was bullshit for Roy to get DQ'd for Griffith, while with AA they're calling him every name in the book. That is just a double standard since both commited the same foul.
I felt both Roy and Soto DQ was not warranted so how I can I feel that this should be?
And, where was Lawrence Cole at?
There is a recovery time for being hit while down. Some refs use it some is quick to pull trigger.
If you think he should of been DQ'd fine. But, just be consistent. I don't think Soto should of been DQ'd for Lorenzo, or Roy for Griffith. So how can I think AA should of been DQ'd.
I honestly more pissed off at Cole for not being in position and stopping the action. Again a fighter job is to keep punching until the ref says stop.
i feel u with soto i do think this was somewhat different ... both times there was def errors made by the ref.
is there 5 min recovery for being hit while down ... i thought only for low blows there was 5 mins recovery ...
either way i htink the dq was more then justifiable

Be consistent. I am always consistent I fell Roy DQ was bullshit. I don't agree with this DQ either. And, I like Dirrell but I fell 2 points and give him time to recover. AA coming on strong. I just don't agree with the DQ.
Is the biasness of some people nobody is crying that Maidana should be DQ for hitting Cayo clearyly after the bell. Because, nobody really cared about that shit. Both shit is just as illegal.
Bro i didnt even see the Maidana fight I was too busy AT the AA fight..lol. I dont know what happened.
5 min recovery from being KO'd. Are you out of your mind. AA should've been lynched by the crowd after that blatant disregard for Direll's health.
GTFOH this is the bullshit I am talking. Stop talking shit and stop exxagerating. Lynched? Fuck outta here.
If Dirrell was in the ground for so long that AA even noticed that Dirrell was in the ground and still had time to wind up and connect. Where the fuck was lawrence Cole? That is the one that you should really be mad at. Not AA...
You can say he deserved to be DQ but be consistent. I am always consistent. I didn't feel Roy should of been DQ for Griffith, and I don't feel AA should of been DQ'd. I felt 2point deduction and 5 minutes recovery time would of been enough.
Again if you hit after the bell is just as illegal but nobody cries for a DQ.

Jro I was there live. Dirrell was shaking man. There is no 5 minute recovery. thats a DQ man. Period.

Yes. Dirrell's act guaranteed the DQ.
He was starting to get hit more, he was knocked down in the previous round, he wanted to take no chances and let it end there and then,
You thought Dirrell was faking?
He hit him on his kness. He deserved to be DQ'd.

i was so glad that dirrel was proving all my points about abrahams crap skills-fighting style...abraham got schooled and yet dirrel cant celebrate....makes me sad....
abraham is shit....if he didnt have power, he'd have 0 wins
and rofl at hios fans claiming favoritism for dirrell by the officials....
abraham rabbit punched and didnt get called for using the ropes to stay up and what about that doctor working on aa's cut :lol1:.........he may have given dirrell hell late with his wild power, but dirrell was on his way to victory....
Lawrence Cole sucks as a ref. What the hell took him so long to stop action after Dirrell fell. If Dirrell was clearly and Abraha after Dirrell still had enough time to not only notice Dirrell was on the floor and then cock his arm back and swing and connect if had all this time where the hell was Lawrence Cole at?
I honestly don't think AA should of gotten DQ'd. I thought a 2 point deduction and give Dirrell 5 minutes to recoup.
Maidana hit Cayo clearly after the bell. Damn near the same foul. However, nobody is calling Maidana a POS or anyting in that nature. Nobody is asking for him to have a DQ. But, some people have Biasis here.

How about after Margarito hit Cotto when he was down, if Cotto had acted like he was KOd then it stands to reason Margarito would have been DQd. So your saying the reaction to the punch of the downed fighter doesnt matter?
Good point. Anyway i don't agree with what people are saying Dirrell couldn't continue or whatever. Abraham landed flush on Dirrell and not even hurt him. He tagged him a couple times that was it. Dirrell hurt Abe just as much to the body andwith that KD. I still don't believe how Abraham makes that style work for him. Dirrell's gameplan is still not the ideal to beat Abe. There must be something else, more effective. The guy gets mauled for 10 rounds and after it his punches are still lightning fast and pack allot of power! Ward has more power, second best power after Abe, maybe he can come out with a complete clear win?
Dirrell fell down on his own and didn't protect himself.
The punch was fair. AA was robbed.
Idiot, it was a slip. The rules are clear. WTF is your problem boy?
no doubt dirrel was ahead of the scorecards but he did'nt look ok in the last 3 rounds .....lawrence cole fukked it all up by ruling a kd a slip, stopping the fight in the wrong time....that motherfukker needs to die fo the sake of boxing.........:fing02:
You need to die for the sake of boxingscene forums.
