He got caught a few times but i dnt think he was hurt either..He did box beautifully through out.
Abraham is a beast though. He walked through most of that even though the punches were damaging him! It took allot to KD him for the first time in his career. I didn't like how Dirrell kept his chin up while slipping the punches... I definitely see room for improvement. Hope the confidence from this win puts him in the right track... I see a loss vs Ward though.
When you get DQ'd the cards help you how? Abe threw that punch out of frustration because Andre was beating his ass. Abe just couldn't handle getting put on his ass for the first time in his career so instead of fighting a FAIR fight, he hit him when he was CLEARLY down. He was down, Abe looked at him, and then blasted him. ****ing coward. In Abe's mind he was probably like, 'well, if I get away with it great', so he went for it. The ref did a bad job by missing Andre's second KD and the KD that Abe got but he did the exact right thing in disqualifying Abe. Abe was whining like a ****ing girl saying that Andre's punches were low. Well, they weren't. They were on the belt line AT WORST. But, because those bodyshots started having an effect on Abe, he figured he'd cry about it like a little girl. Didn't help.
Well we agree that the cards didnt matter lol.
and when you get KOd the cards help you how?

Yep Andre did really well. Slowed down a lot in the later rounds. Was dissapointed to see him on the backfoot a lot towards the end, but Abe was coming on.
No way Andre would have lost though, he was dragging it to the cards.
And everybody claims robbery? :wtf:
because most of these idiots are butt hurt and think everything they claim is the truth but by tomorrow they'll either be back to dropping on their knees for either Manny or Floyd so let em cool off
Dirrell was easily out boxing him, but the cards were stacked against Abraham.
Ref didn't want to stop fight for obvious low blows.
Ref stops fight when Abraham is pounding on Dirrell in the corner.
Ref doesn't count Abraham's obvious knockdown.
Ref stops Abraham's momentum to check on a cut.
The knockdown should have been counted for Abraham, but the second knockdown should have been counted for Dirrell and he countered Abraham and the only thing holding him up was the ropes.
Also, they were cleaning up the cut and applying pressure to it giving Abraham more time and helping him out.
At the end of the day,Abraham hit him with a very dirty illegal shot that got even Roy Jones DQ'd.
No doubt this will be controvertial, but Dirrell was very far ahead on the cards, could have finished the fight if he didn't take that dirty punch.
I would have liked to see Dirrell not get hit by this illegal punch so we could see him get his win ,but it was a shut-out victory for him anyways....if you wanna get upset, get upset at Abraham for DQ'ing himself out of this fight...
Well I knew it was going to happen weird things as soon as I was told that Cole was the ref.
He allowed Dirrell to hit low and didnt do a shit, didnt even issue a warning to Dirrell.
He ruled AA's perfect KD of Dirrell a slip in the 10th RD, a typical Cole thing.
On top of that , he didnt understand that Dirrell tried to escape from AA's punches by faking a slip 4-5 times, the last so called "slip" came just before the end of the fight, Dirrell should start a career as an actor in Hollywood.
Cole should never be allowed to be a ref in a title fight, he can be kept as a ref in small club 4 rd fights where he can ruin the career of prospects...
