I'm talking about the fact to Floyd "Belts gather dust". Floyd fans don't want to see Floyd earn $50 million. They want to see him fight and beat the best fighters out there. I have no respect for this guy. He's a great talent but not all he could be. In it for the money and seems he'd rather duck someone who might beat to ensure he keeps getting the big pay days. Belts don't mean anything unless they're held by a quality fighter. And Floyd has made clear a million times he only cares about money. None of this stuff should surprise anybody.

I'm going to believe a no name poster over Arum and Floyd. I'm not even sure what that means. yea he ducked a bum who won a vacant wbo belt..to fight the true linear champ lol..only in a idiots mind does that make sense... Floyd chosing money over legacy is something that i hate as a boxing fan but that i could understand as a man. Good point. As a boxing fan it is hard to respect him as a boxer though easy to admire his talent.

Boxing fans want to be entertained and see the top fighters battle it out to see who is the greatest. Mayweather is a world class fighter who should fear no one. We aren't talking about some bum who is going into a ring to be knocked out for someone else's warm up. Mayweather is in a position where he does not need to worry about money. People on this forum need to worry about feeding their kids. The concept of a multi millionaire saying he needs to feed his kids is a joke. He can take the purse from his next fight and put it into an account for his kids and they'd be set for life. I do believe he cares about his record. I believe he wants to go undefeated and he avoids fights to maintain that record so I don't think he is being completely honest.

Mayweather just spits the truth and some cats find that hard to accept. Belts in this era of 1000 sanctioning bodies dont mean that much. That's why the Ring Belt has gained credence.
