dirrell-taylor-ward would beat him...he beats kess froch and abraham easy...
styles make fights
could have just said loses to the black guys and beats the white guys. I think he beats the Taylor of today, Dirrell, Kessler, and Froch. And I think he would lose to Ward and Abraham. I really believe that Ward's style is very similar to BHops and I think AA has a very hard style for a Hopkins style fighter.
That could change come saturday night though.
no, unless he gets a couple bad decisions in his favor. hell, taylor beat him twice that year, and I wouldn't think jermain would go undefeated. the jermain of 2005 of course.
He decisions everybody. I think he may have had the ability to stop Dirrel and Ward because they are chinny and he definitely would've KOd that version of Taylor that fought Abe. He decisions Abraham, Kess, and Froch.
Lets say the Hopkins of 2005, around the JT fights. moves up and goes in the current Super 6. Does he come out with 0 Losses?
I don't think that the 2005 Hopkins would have been much, if anything, better than the 2o10
Edition. It's difficult to quantify that scrambling, clutching, butting, "style" as improving or degrading during any given period.
Perhaps the Hopkins of, say, 1990-95 was better, that is, more like the conventional boxer.
Bhop is severely overrated by many people on this site.
He loses too ward, abraham, and dirrell has the speed and size to give him trouble.
uh oh here comes NASA000, street fully, and secondz out to bail their boy out...
Hell no he wouldn't have zero losses. That was back when his resume consisted of natural welterweight/super welterweight champions like Wright, Trinidad and De La Hoya. I'd pick Dirrell, Ward and Abraham to beat him. Taylor already beat him. However he might beat Froch and maybe Kessler.
Abraham and Ward might be able too. Hopkins doesnt like fighters his size or bigger that have power and skill. I dont like Hopkins but he would probably beat everyone else pretty easy.
