Why cant Mayweather be proud of being black without being called a racist?

To be honest I am a white american and I am a big Pavlik fan. I dont think its really wrong to root for someone who you can relate to more. But I also like plenty of black boxers. I will root for Dirrell this weekend because he is american not necessarily because I like his style. He is cocky and Im not too big on that but I will deal with it and root for him cause he is american. Chad Dawson I am a fan of because he is humble not because I like his fighting style. So I like fighters for different reasons whether they are black or white or whatever.

Asian and Hispanic fighters are proud of their culture and ethnic backgrounds and show them off on their trunks and they way they act and what not. But if Mayweather is happy with who he is people call him racist, why is that? Why is it that when Pavlik is happy with who he is, he is considered a skinhead?

How do you become a racist in the sports of Boxing? What do you have to do or say to make it racist? It's easy to do that in social standing, that is if you are white or caucasian and anything you say negative against people of color can be considered racism. But in boxing, that would not be easy unless you are white or caucasian. I don't know why i am responding to this thread.

I think Mayweather gets a little confused when things don't go his way and 'people who don't like me are racist' just pops in to his head and, being an idiot, spills out of his mouth. I take everything he says with a pinch of salt (or if I can help it, ignore him completely). Muhammad Ali was smart outside the ring as well as in it, which is why he earned respect. In 2010 yes it f'ed up white people cant show pride in their race without coming off racist sometimes, but Im saying just cause they have this problem does not mean other races should stop showing pride in their race. honestly i rarely see races supporting their race i seethem supporting their country. mexicans from my experience support mexico not every hispanic person. chinese support chinese not every asian. african americans support african americans more that white or hispanic americans ?? you all american what does it matter what colour your skin is. i personally don't give a shhiiit about this stuff, im white and i couldn't give a flying fucck about other white people, i have no pride for my race and further more , i often support hispanic and african american athletes over white ones. i support mexican fighters the most because i love the way they fight. if white or black fighters fought that way then i would support them, and i personally think that's the way it should be. liking someone based on race is ****ked up when we are in the year 2010 ...if you ask me.
