why not fight the elite 135 fighter then? JMM-Pac III is a much better fight than Pac-Margarito or Pac-Valero IMO. (and also much more dangerous, which is why he isn't considering it) there was no money fighting on the 135lbs the money fight is in 140-147 lbs. If floyd still duck pac the second time then we have a chance that we could see the JMM-PAC fight.

Im a big fan of both fighters and would of loved to see a 3rd fight. Both fights were very close and i think a 3rd fight should of been made. It could of went down as one of the best trilogies ever.

Marquez won clearly in the rematch IMO. I had it 115-112, and I am equally a fan of both fighters. i had it 115-112 PACQUIAO and i was rooting heavily for JMM. in fact i hated pacquiao at the time, after this fight i learned to respect him. the fact is that it was a close fight that could have gone either way. no real winner in this fight except for the fans :boxing:

It was only a few weeks ago leading up to the clottey fight. His exact words were: "Manny can still make 135 easily"... Thats the guy that weighs him and keeps records of his daily weight so I doubt he is wrong. Plus, I believe him simply because I know Manny is not a WW. His best weight is between 130 and 135. It was JMM's fault, they could have fought the rematch immediately after the first fight but marquez acted like a prima dona and said pac should have his own title first before there would be a rematch. He got a dose of his own medicine.
