You can't compare the two... Floyd didnt make a run at the 154 weight class, he beat De La Hoya and the Cotto fight just never happened... I'm not saying Floyd's resume is more impressive but very impressive nonetheless to be ranked p4p for 12 years... Ring isnt gonna rank you p4p or 12 years from doing nothing and fighting no bodies, he fought and defeated 6 p4p ranked fighters, won 5 different titles and 5 different weight classes, beat two undefeated p4p ranked fighters... If you dont think that's impressive then maybe you need some stronger glasses your self... Yeah, but 1998 wasn't part of this decade and Floyd took two years off. taking those two years off costed him the fighter of the decade award IMO... If he would of stayed active and fought Cotto after he beat Mosley and then any other competative fight afterwards he would gotten it... Floyd taking that 2 year hiatus has changed alot in boxing though IMO; we might have never found that Margarito was a cheater/ Mosley probably would have never had the chance to put himself back on top/ Pacquiao would have never fought De La Hoya.... damn
