he has been taking lidocaine injections in both hands before fights for many years - reportedly since late 2005 or early 2006 after injuring both hands. Lidocaine is a pain killer that is allowed only within certain medicinal limits as it pertains to professional athletic competition. Guess which one and where? Boxing...and Nevada. PBF has only fought in Nevada since 2006...and currently only holds a Nevada license.
Perhaps this is another reason why he wouldn't fight in Dallas?
Nah, I'm still going with the notion that he's scared.

if i put lidocaine in my fists and punched a wooden house to bits, my hands finders and knuckles would be broken and the next day or when the lidocaine loses its effect, i will be in serious PAIN..
Pain is the first alarm bell the body gives us when we are in danger, maybe mayweather is at a disadvantage here?

You have piqued my interest, i'll bite. It is an interesting thought, but without screaming my head off, is there any way to get more information on this lidocaine usage?
edit: dir, how about I try using google? Heh heh heh.
