actually he was underrated.
people forget about kostya when zab was "the next new thing"
when zab was getting hyped up people forgot that kostya was in the 140 division. some even thought sharmba was better than kostya.
we all found out who was the man at 140 though when sharmba and zab finally took kostya on though.
kostya ruined both guys.
haha it was funny watching mitchell talk trash.......all KT said was that he will apologise to me after the fight............and that's exactly what happened........SM literally said sorry.......haha
i think kostya had the power and the hand speed to hit cotto clean with hard shots. also the fight would be at the distance that he fought his best at, not on the inside, kostya like to throw full punches and wasn't into fighting on the inside, that is where hatton was smart and made it a rough and tumble fight, although had that fight been anywhere else, ricky's fouling wouldn't have been permitted.
i think prime vs prime, kostya would win in the war.
cotto's chin was shaky at 140 because he was cutting a lot of weight.
Kostya was one of the hardest hitting 140 guys of all time.
Put 2 and 2 together.
hell i think kostya in his prime could beat pacquiao and mayweather at 140.
:?!: .
I'd favor Tszyu. Hard hitter, good boxing skills and dictating the tempo/distance, underrated speed. The Tszyu of the mid to late 90s had pretty quick hands. Cotto was still sort of green at 140 and by the time he got more experience, weight drained there too.
