I have been rewatching PBF v Judah, Oscar, JMM and Hatton. It may be a fight aside from those, but what do you think is PBF's best performance?
Of the lot, I think the Oscar performance was awesome, against a bigger guy with years at the higher weight, still good etc.
He is the best pure boxer I have seen. Increasingly, unless age jumps on him, no one will unpick the mystery of PBF.
Hypothetical p4p contest, do you think BHop could unpick Floyd if they could be raised/lowered to the same size?
the Gatti fight...i wanted to stop that shit before Buddy did
THIS SHAT RIGHT HERE..he said it right
but to be more specific
Best Win: Diego Corrales
Best Performance: Gatti
Best Fight(most Action packed): Emmanuel Augustus (Burton)
Augustus. Floyd destroyed him. Corrales, Corley cause I've never seen Floyd stunned and I like how he took control of the situation. I liked Floyd in his recent fight with JMM even though it was pretty much a tune up fight. When Floyd was at a lighter weight he was a lot more active and was exciting to watch.
Corrales or Gatti in my opinion. The Judah fight was pretty impressive as well. The amount of technical skill displayed in the Marquez fight was nothing short of amazing, especially after a 2 year lay off.
Diego & Hatton were his best perfomances. Diego & Hatton were both undefeated & both were ranked in the top 10 P4P on every list that matters. Floyd basically ended both those guys. Although the Hernandez, Gatti, & Judah fights were all vintage Mayweather also.

I can't believe u said Oscar-Floyd! That was a terrible fight and one of the few moments where it looked like the moment overwhelmed Floyd. He didn't really get into a rhythm till late in the fight and just didn't look sharp. Even when he stepped up the attack Oscar bloxked a good deal of his punches. Floyd would probably say the same that he wasn't on top of his game that night.
His best performance offensively was probably against Gatti, he just had everything working and was extrememly offensive from the get go. He usually doesn't turn it on until he sees a guy hurt but in the Gatti fight he was on a mission from the opening bell. I believe it was his first PPV and he wanted to put on a show which he absolutely did.
I think the Ndou fight might be a close second because Ndou was a liver dog in there and more offensive. Gatti as most said was literally a punching bag thay night. People don't realize Ndou had 30 KOs of his 31 wins at that point if memory serves me correctly. Watch how Floyd brilliantly countered Ndou's lazy jab all fight long and then ended it with 3 brilliant straight rights. Another nugget for ya: Ndou retired 1 fight later with like brain damage or something.
i was gonna say the Corrales fight but Chico was about to go to jail so im not sure how much of him was there mentally
Chico always had problems with boxers and it showed against Casamayor too
The Gatti fight was definitely his best performance, and the Corrales fight was his best display of skill. Physically Corrales had everything he needed to win, but it wasn't anywhere near enough.
I also can't help but watch the Manfredy fight over and over again. I've never seen Floyd throw punches the way he did when he cornered him...
Corrales. The Gatti fight was another one, but Corrales was supposed to be a huge problem for Floyd and he made him look 2nd rate. Gatti at that point was a punching bag (RIP).
